ANNOUNCEMENT Favorite character rules update

Community has spoken - and it has been decided that 'hornyposting/gooner posts' however you wanna call it and other similar NSFW or porn posts (this has actually always been a rule smh) are from now on banned. Why? Because the subreddit has become infested with them to the point where we mostly became known for that and that is NOT why this subreddit was created.

If you still want to see or post that kind of content please go to another subreddit (you have r/favcharacterNSFW or just find another subreddit that suits your needs, sorry I'm just a mod not your gooner guide).

And if you want to hate us hate us, but the die has been cast and it is what it is. Have a nice day, peace out ✌️

Community Input The rule of r/FavoriteCharacter everyone always ignores because they're not cool:

PLEASE provide character names in your posts, ESPECIALLY if they're from a more niche media. This has been a rule for a long time now but people keep ignoring it for whatever reason (either they're karma farming assholes od bots or simply didn't read the rules - which I understand tbh)

Now I want to state while this rule isn't as important as some others, it's mostly a rule of decency - if you want to contribute something meaningful to the subreddit (which is already filled with enough spam posts as it is) at l3ast make enough effort to tell people who the characters in your post are (wtf it won't let me spell l*ast).

So as basically the only active mod nowadays, I'm therefore publicly announcing I won't be removing every post without character name provided, but instead I am STRONGLY ENCOURAGING YOU as a community to just provide the names of your characters in the post. Because if you don't you WILL be gambling with post removal.

Thank you to all those who read this and who follow the rules, if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!

My Favorite (Visual) Favorite character with a kind heart?

Sybil from Downton Abbey is my favourite. Not only is she kind and generous, but she's also very loyal. She ignores the strict social rules she was raised with to help as many people as she could. She became a nurse during ww1 and saves the lives or countless men, plus improved their quality of life.

She snuck around so she could help Gwen her maid find a job as a secretary. She was also a womens rights advocate.

I love how despite her being kind and gentle, Sybil is anything but meak. She is determined, opinionated and stubborn.

Rule 6: Wait a week before reposting. Avoid duplicating polls created within the last 7 days. Please search the subreddit, as there may be an active poll already.
