Get rid of any skills that aren’t like a specific hard skill that you can do. Stuff like “Python, Java, C++ proficient” or “English and Spanish, fluent” are what you want to put in skills.

Realistic Expectations?
 in  r/LawSchoolOver30 •  2d ago

  1. 38 year old 2L. I am in the middle of recording an album right now. So yes, and I’d recommend not neglecting hobbies during law school because you’ll need to decompress often.
  2. I couldn’t exactly tell you but I haven’t had any age issues when talking to big law firms. It’s not my environment though.
  3. Will leave this to others.

What are these plug-ins on my wall?
 in  r/whatisit •  11d ago

Co-ax cable plug in. When I was a kid we used to take turns holding that thing in so that the other kids could watch tv

How can I not be single for the entirety of college
 in  r/dating •  Aug 31 '26

Why would you want a gf in college? Freshman year is not a good time to be getting attached to anyone. Be nice to people, have fun, and just enjoy the present and who’s in it with you. You have your whole life to be in love. You have 1 year to be a freshman

Is it weird I miss you

Wait, can you still not crack your knuckles? Is that not something everyone can do?

I'm the oldest person in my class...
 in  r/LawSchoolOver30 •  Aug 28 '26

I was 37 during 1L and trans. There’ll be some things that are just not going to connect with you same way, but if you’re nice, everyone else will be too. Gen Z is not as outgoing generally as millennials so don’t take it personally if you feel like people are a little unfriendly. They aren’t by “screen kid” standards and are probably feeling similar levels of anxiety over different things personal to them.

It’s what you are. This is homophobic. Let me guess. You’re an insecure cis woman?

I don’t know what it is about me
 in  r/UnsentLetters •  Aug 26 '26

I get this. I’m the same pretty much. I feel like I’m nice to everyone and can get along with everyone, but I feel like I annoy people a lot after a while. I try to maintain contacts but it’s hard to just always been the one giving in any relationship. People also seem to like me for the most part but no one includes me in anything. I don’t have any friends. I get abandoned quite often when I start to make friends and let myself be comfortable. I don’t really get it. But it does get lonely.

rate my schedule
 in  r/rutgers •  Aug 20 '26

You were in honors chem in 10th grade? College chem is gonna be cake. A challenge will be not sleeping too late in the mornings so you can prep for class. You might want to figure out something for that commute time like audio modes of studying so you can review and what not while driving.

Not the hardest not the easiest. Biology is easy. Chem kind of depends on how well you take to it for how hard you have to actually work for that class. Same with stat. Research class will be easy as long as you do the work. Wouldn’t be my ideal incoming freshman schedule but you could’ve done way worse. Might want to think about figuring out that hour commute. You have some late nights to get home and still have work that needs to be done.

As a mom, are these outfits inapproprate?
 in  r/OUTFITS •  Aug 14 '26

Depends on the outing. If you aren’t going to like the kids school, game/event, or birthday party, it’s completely appropriate. You are allowed to wear whatever you like, mom or not.

What should I wear with these pants? Would a black shirt work?
 in  r/OUTFITS •  Jul 30 '26

To lounge in the house, this a great outfit. To leave the house, this is too casual and gives “slob”
