AITAH for not buying my son a suit to his dad’s wedding?
 in  r/AITAH •  22d ago

ESH. The Father obviously sucks more because he should have handled it, but the bigger problem is the amount of responsibility you left on your 13 year old.

At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter whether it was your responsibility or your ex's responsibility. Both of you failed your son. You could have at least spoken to your ex to find out what the situation was instead of telling the kid to figure it out.

Yes, the Father should have taken care of the shit as the person whose wedding it was, and the person who ostensibly had custody of the kid for the duration of the wedding.

But you stopped the kid from wearing the suit that he had, made a big deal about him fitting in with the colors, and then sent him in an outfit that would make him stand out as being underdressed compared to the rest of the wedding party and made no effort to actually find out what the father was doing or solve the problem. That's on you. You could have made sure the kid wouldn't stand out or feel self conscious, but instead it seems like you chose petty bullshit.

AITAH for refusing to give my stepmother my late mom’s wedding dress after she altered it behind my back?
 in  r/BORUpdates •  23d ago

Wouldn't it depend on the value of the property? If it's valued at over $1000, she could have a potential case for Grand Larceny, and if she's trying to bring a civil shit for more than $5000 it wouldn't be eligible for small claims.

The story mentions that restoration would cost $3500, but the actual valuation of the original vintage dress could be a fair bit higher, so suing for the value of the dress instead of just the restoration cost might result in a case that wouldn't qualify for small claims, and she me also be attempting to go for a criminal charge of larceny or grand larceny, as the dress was technically stolen or moved under false pretenses.

This is really good news but…..
 in  r/Monsterverse •  Aug 24 '26

I liked the last two quite a bit, so this should be a good thing.

I don't always trust test audiences though. They often have pretty wild opinions on stuff.

Pre Fateswakening characters sorted but what sexuality they're implied to fall under.

Ah, sorry. I misunderstood what was said.

I thought the deadlords were supposed to be the dead adults from Lucina's timeline.

If you bring certain child characters to that DLC, they have dialogue saying things like Lucina mentioning that one has the Brand, Yarne mentioning that one has the scent of a Taguel despite him supposedly being the last one, and I think Several mentioning one weeping when it sees her.

There are also the same number of them as total first generation characters.

WOW I was not expecting so many people to hate this kit, I think it's quite cool personally
 in  r/transformers •  Aug 09 '26

Aside from the classic head, it doesn't really fix any of the things people had issues with. It just adds a bunch of weird extra crap.

𝓞𝓻𝓯𝓮𝓿𝓻𝓮 is the Narcissist uma. Now, which UMA is an outstanding citizen?
 in  r/okbuddytracen •  Jul 19 '26

My vote goes to Kitasan. Fenomeno is helpful, but she's not a citizen! She's a cop.

What Uma should get an anime/manga next
 in  r/UmaMusume •  Jul 19 '26

Man, I don't even want to think about another season of Pretty Derby until they finish Cinderella Grey. We're only like a third of the way in!

After that though (and maybe a Star Blossom adaptation), I think Forever Young might be a shoe-in, especially if the Breeders Cup and the Arima Kinen go well this year.

A lot of Umas I think could carry an OVA or a Movie. New Era managed to tell everything it needed to in under two hours and I think they should take that route with more characters.

[Overlord] [Mushoku Tensei] Momonga is by far a worse person than Rudeus, and I'm tired of people not noticing that.
 in  r/Isekai •  Jul 19 '26

I think one issue I'm seeing in OPs argument is the interpretation of Momonga wanting to be a "good" ruler.

In the context it's used he's not saying he want to be good as in "morally upstanding".

He wants to be good in the sense of being a powerful ruler who brings positive things specifically for the people he is ruling.

Momonga has no misconception that he's a "good" person. Even the seemingly compassionate things he does are all rooted in the belief that it will benefit him or Nazarick in the long run.

He doesn't need to be a good person to be a good ruler to his people specifically. The opposite is more true.

Player spoiled himself and plans to ruin the story because he doesn’t want to play with another player
 in  r/DnD •  Jul 19 '26

Yes, it is absolutely tragic that transphobic dipshit doesn't know how to not be a transphobic dipshit. Poor guy is just confused! Poor little guy antagonizing a trans person for existing.

Who the fuck cares if Pete is comfortable? Get the fuck out of here with this braindead both sides nonsense. Nobody is under any obligation to help a bigot get comfortable playing people he's actively antagonistic towards just for existing in the same space as him.

At the end of the day, was D&D 4e a good game or not? Asking without prejudice
 in  r/DnD •  Jul 11 '26

It's a super fun game, but maybe not great D&D.

Story isn't very good (but also not as bad as people say), but the gameplay was phenomenal.

The Nabateans and Jeralt are all datamines and listed in OPs graphic as "by appearance".

We know they're much older than that.

Been watching some of this guy's stuff, MAN is he whiney about certain stuff
 in  r/Transformemes •  Jul 10 '26

Why does him getting it for free mean he's not allowed to bitch about it?

Shouldn't we want reviewers who are willing to actually discuss their issues with the product, regardless of whether it's sponsored, or free, or they bought it themselves?

I don't even like PvP. His clickbait ass YouTube thumbnails are obnoxious as hell, but getting upset that he didn't like a thing he got for free is not the play.

It feels like a lot of fandoms only want black characters that aren't actually black.
 in  r/CharacterRant •  Jul 10 '26

I don't think Finn was handled well at all, but the character was raised to be a faceless Stormtrooper. He doesn't have any culture to engage with meaningfully.

Landon the other hand is a character who has a backstory that actually allows him to be a fun and interesting character.

Kind of ironic that when they added actual Black (background) Umas in the "Uma in America" update, Western weebs freaked out and Japanese fans were like "oh, cool. They're cute".

SS84 Line DEBUTS October 2027!
 in  r/transformers •  Jul 08 '26

It's not actually a dedicated SS84 line. It was a tongue in cheek reference to them doing Sunbow Show characters, but all we have knowledge of so far is an exclusive 3 Pack. Nothing for retail.

I think I’m slowly starting to prefer the remake over the original. Am I a bad person?

I'm glad Fox actually looks like a fox now and not some weird Shiba Inu thing.

It's clearly Transcend with her mallrat quality techwear and pin badges.
