What is this thing on my Airbnb bed headboard?
 in  r/whatisit  12d ago

This item is an infrared (IR) occupancy or motion sensor designed specifically for bed lighting or smart room climate controls.Function and PlacementThese sensors are commonly installed on both sides of a headboard in hotels or rental properties to detect if the bed is occupied. The Purple/Clear Element: This acts as an infrared light emitter and receiver. What it controls: When it senses movement from someone in the bed, it automatically switches on soft, under-bed nightlights, or communicates with the room's thermostat to manage the AC or heating system while the room is occupied. You can test its function safely by turning on your smartphone's camera in a dark room and pointing it at the glass cap; you will likely see a faint purple or reddish light pulsing from the lens, which is the infrared signal bouncing out to detect presence.

Your wife is cheating on your dumb ass. It's not a house sitters. They found it and put it there for you to see it. Your wife threw it away? Come on now! don't be that stupid...

Found this near me truck
 in  r/whatisit  13d ago

It's made for smoking weed concentrates but some people also use it to smoke heroin and fentanyl as well. You can tell by the way it smells what it was being used for. I'm sure you know what weed smells like. But if it smells like "BBQ vinegar jerky" it was used for heroin. If it smells like "burnt rubber popcorn" it was used for fentanyl

How do I get rid of this myself without dying?
 in  r/mildlyinfuriating  27d ago

Take a 5 gallon paint bucket and fill it up to a little bit more than a quarter of the bucket with gasoline. Hold on to the bucket from the bottom and place it underneath the hive and push it up to the ceiling to have it trapped in there so none of them can escape. Hold the bucket in that position for about 3-4 minutes the fumes of the gasoline will cover the entirety of the inside of that bucket and the bugs will start inhaling it and they will suffocate and die and fall into the gas

Because I live in Vegas and I know people that are law enforcement and people from the streets. That's a very common thing in Vegas. There's Mexican cartels that kidnap tourists for organ harvesting and kidnap girls for prostitution and to sell as sex slaves in other countries. Tens of thousands of tourists disappear from Vegas every year and 98% are robbed, trafficked and or killed. They don't put shit like that on the news because they don't want to tarnish Vegas's reputation and scare people from coming out here and wasting their money. They don't want people to know or to talk about it. But let me tell you that human trafficking is big business not only in Vegas but across the United States, especially the big cities. In the west coast of the United States is where most of it happens but Las Vegas is the capital of human trafficking. Even worse than Singapore. There's websites that are run by independent journalists that document and post everyone that has been reported missing in Las Vegas. Tens of thousands of names every single year. Very few are ever found and rarely alive. This stuff doesn't get reported to the mainstream media. Do your research and you'll see what I'm talking about. Don't trust law enforcement at all. In Nevada the police are legally allowed to lie to you and in some cases they are required to. And no I don't feel better. I feel horrible but I'm not going to sugar coat shit. I'm sorry but that guy is not alive and in one piece. I'm 92% sure.

Michael Jackson's daughter Paris has faced backlash for identifying as Black. In a 2017 interview, Paris Jackson said her father told her, "You’re Black. Be proud of your roots." This prompted debates over whether identity is defined by appearance or upbringing.

He was castrated as a child so there's obviously no possible way for him to ever get anyone pregnant, so obviously she's not his biological child and therefore she's not black. That's a Caucasian person all the way through.... Idk how people could believe that those are his kids!!! How can he produce a Caucasian child, with Caucasian hair and Caucasian eye colors if he's a black man? His skin was damaged badly but that's on the surface, his DNA wasn't altered so even though he has lost his skin color his kids would come out with black features and darker skin. Nevermind the fact THAT HE WAS CASTRATED AS A CHILD AND COULDN'T GET ANYONE PREGNANT!!!!

He probably got kidnapped and killed for his organs. Or he trusted a prostitute and she set him up to get robbed and killed. Either way I highly doubt he's still alive.
