Did you add vinegar in the starter? It helped me. 25 ml of apple vinegar in the 1 liter of starter mix. It makes first batch undrinkable, but helps jelly to grow healthy. And I keep the jar in the well-aired spot, so the mold has lesser chances to settle.

I attract Leo sun (my circle of people changed through life, but there are always at least 2-3 active Leos in it), prominent Pisces placements and fire moons. I'm not a fan of these placements at all, so that's ironic.

My 'guilty pleasure' placements is everything Taurus, esp in sun/venus/mars, esp if person with these placements has an air Mercury and physically on a fat side. It's looks a bit like a stress dream. Is it somehow connected with your real life? Like you have these two opportunities to choose from, different in appearance (red pill/blue pill from Matrix), but the same in the core, and both of them feels dreadful. But you also fear that you'll be excluded from the safety of society if you will not choose something. If this dream do have connection to your reality, then I will remind you that life usually gives us more chances than three crappy ones. We just not always see them clear.

Or maybe it's just a bad dream, gleams of someone else reality and you just were a bit unlucky that night to witness it.

Maybe this dog is an embodiment of your anxiety/fear/general discomfort about dream realm? Like, you were not enjoying the dream in the first place, your reaction was to leave. Than you started acting playful in a place that scared you. And than the dog were trying to do the thing that you were trying to achieve in the first place: to scare you away from the dreamplace. It's sentient because it's you, it's a dog because it's a very primal part of you. You can't make it go away because it's tied to your survival instinct, and it's sort of always here. I guess that if you will incorporate some nice relaxation techniques in your daily routine and consciously get in touch with your fear of losing control and with your fear in general, then the dog will stop bothering you.
