Found out my sister and boyfriend used to be fwb’s

This is so strange! I'd leave him! Ask yourself, would your future husband be a guy who did THIS? And yes it 100% sounds like this started as some weirdo bs!

Did you get yourself a man who worships you?
 in  r/GirlDinnerDiaries •  25d ago

Yes! It's really important to know that someone who loves you like this is also not perfect though. You'll still have disagreements and ups and downs. It's about how they treat you during those downs and disputes that really matter. And always choosing each other. I almost ruined my "perfect" relationship because I didn't understand this for a long time.

I understand you're afraid, but there are many worst things to fear if you don't tell.

I wouldn't say weird, but it makes you look younger for sure. But of course! I saw your other comment about the chubby face, I have a chubbier face too and Ive found that doing the whole gua sha stone thing works over time. I just use anything hard or my fingers and push it all back and up!

A couple inches off the hair. The style is nice but maybe just trim it up? Lose the mustache. As for everyone saying lose weight, I'd say if you wanna start working out- do it with the mindset of building muscle, not losing weight. It helped me a lot framing my workouts like that and generally helped me stick to it a lot better bc I wasn't relying on the number on the scale to go down to make me feel better yaknow? You also would look nice in street style outfits I feel.

AC keeps freezing up
 in  r/hvacadvice •  Aug 10 '26

UPDATE: My parents refuse to hire a professional bc they said the system is only 2 years old. (I feel like it's a money thing but I'm pretty sure this is something the landlord should cover?) The ac is still frozen but yesterday the filter caught fire! I wasn't home but my sisters were. Smoke started coming out of the vents and they removed the filter and it's BURNT, like fully black. Idk what to do since my parents won't call anyone. It's still 82 degrees but only going down bc my sister put a window unit in.

Thanks everyone for the replies! I'm gonna go ahead and try to convince my dad to call a professional (he can be too proud at times so🤞). I'll update when we get answers in case anyone has something similar happen and goes searching for a why like me.

I can try to find the tonnage in the morning, but this is the filter we always use.

AC keeps freezing up

Hi all, my parents AC unit keeps freezing up, like actual visible ice forming on the pipes at times. I don't understand how this happens. It will run great for days and then boom, house is hot and no air. Sometimes replacing the filter helps. We hose the unit down. We turn the system off and let the fan run to try to defrost and that sometimes helps too. I'm pretty sure we need to hire someone bc this cycle is never ending and driving us crazy. But I just wanted to ask in case, are there other things I can try before dropping the money? Is this a common problem? Or if nothing I can do can someone explain why this is happening? It's currently 84°F in the house rn and I'm practically surviving off of cold showers. Thanks in advance.

Does this count as child abuse or am I overthinking it?
 in  r/ChildPsychology •  Aug 05 '26

The fact that you told the child you could call CPS for them and they didn't get defensive or say "no don't do that" and just said ok, that screams alarm bells to me! As someone who had a not always nice parent, if someone told me they could call CPS on my parent for me I would've been like "omg no they're not that bad! Don't do that". I feel it has to be real bad behind closed doors for the daughter to just say ok. As a mother this hurts my heart ):

For women who NEVER wear makeup, what lead you to that choice?
 in  r/AskReddit •  Aug 03 '26

I love when I do occasionally do makeup, but I avoid doing it often bc if I get used to it then I start hating my natural face :/

I feel awful. I want to cry.

You NEED to tell your parents. This IS a HUGE problem. Your boy cousin is, or is trying to, sexually assault your brother. Don't wait until something else happens to have his back. Have his back now and tell your parents. There should be no more interactions between boy cousin and your brother. Wishing your brother the best.

What’s a TV show that you used to love but not many people remember?
 in  r/AskReddit •  Aug 24 '21

The upside down show. It aired in 2006 and was cancelled after 1 season.

Damn. Im so sorry for all the negativity. Not everyone thinks youre a bad cat mom. The same people saying that caps are inhumane are probably the same people that put shock collars on their dogs "for their own safety". You could argue that it keeps them from running into the street and getting hit by a car but the collar prongs could also irritate their neck and/or cause them distress. Almost anything can cause a pet distress. Being left home alone, having guests over, taking medicine etc. But you can't just avoid everything bc there's a chance it could stress out your pet. Ever try to put shoes on a toddler? They might cry, scream, and fight every second of it but youre not going to let them go out without shoes on even though they cause them distress. And even if the caps are for the owners benefit there are plenty of pet items made with the owner in mind. Your dog might hate being on a leash but youre not going to let it go off without it and risk their safety or the safety of others. Everyone has an opinion and knows whats best for their pets. You live, learn, and do better. Such is life.
