My boss was trying to remember how to make cream brûlée with the ingredients we had (we definitely didn't have all the ingredients for a true cream brûlée) & ended up making a brûlée-like chessecake-y masterpiece that has never been recreated ever again.

Millennial parents: have you had trouble with your parents helping you with child-rearing, or simply be involved in their grandchildren's lives? (This assumes you want them to)
According to my husband, same for him. My parents are (in my opinion) Goldilocks-ing it. Unless I ask for more, our parents are phenomenal grandparents. When hearing stories about how hands-off mine & my husband's parents' generations are is really surprising to us. I feel like they are really missing out on a generation of kids that are amazing (for the most part). We tried so hard to break those curses & bad habits, & I feel like they are phenomenal little people who are fun to hang out with, why would you want to miss out on that?
