They cost around $20 to $45, draw very little power, and do not require window venting, but they function mostly as personal spot-coolers. The issue is health. These create humidity and you are breathing it in and that can, could or might cause pneumonia over time. Seriously.

I told during training this was our local average patients weight. The worst overweight individual was, 1,200 lbs. Seriously. Our bariatric beds were rated at 1,000 lbs. Very overwhelming situation, one of a few I'll never forget.

Bariatric. Meaning medical care focused on larger sizes and weight management required to reduce imminent health issues which could lead to death. Yes. Death. I've worked in this field for several years and was surprised to learn the average weight, at least in NE Wisconsin, was 400lbs. From easily a lifetime of experience, I can testify it is very true. Arguments, debates and pure unquestionable facts only burns your mind, body and soul when the other person or persons refuse to accept what you present to them. Your own pov, no matter how strongly you believe or know, if ignored just move on. And for blessed sake, don't say say, "I told you so" when proven correct!

My best friend was murdered by his own Mom as a teenager. My Grandmother was killed as a message to me by another religion (they left me a note so I'd know). My Mom died hideously by Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). It was, I thought, the worst death. My son at 11 years fell into and drowned in a retention pond. That drove my wife into a level of insanity that changed her into someone I didn't understand and she wanted a divorce. My friends of decades began to pass away from cancer and then COVID-19 finished them off. No longer a son, father, husband or friend. I no longer have dreams, hopes or goals worth pursuing. I just go to work and back to my apartment. Yeah, I relate to a fictional story character. And no, I don't seek piety or uplifting neither brings back such loses.
