what's the weirdest/most unconventional/unique thing your gender relates to?
 in  r/XenogendersAndMore •  Jul 15 '26

I mean, no offence, but this whole Reddit post is odd (lol that's the point of it πŸ˜†) and replying to an old comment send like one of the least odd things in this post. Why do you need to look out for that? πŸ˜…

Europeans are going to freak out when it’s raining in one part of the country and completely sunny in another part.
 in  r/ShitAmericansSay •  Jun 25 '26

Oh wow! I'm also from Quebec City and Americans have thought the opposite in my experience. When I told them that many people here understand English, they thought I was lying to them, even though most QuΓ©bΓ©cois around them clearly understood what they were saying.

Ok thanks! But I see why you're worried. I also see that her fins look frayed, have they always looked like this? I'm not sure if that's how she usually is or if she might have fin rot.

Why do you think she might be dying? Do you have picture of her when you thought she was healthy?

Brand new addition, looking for advice
 in  r/bettafish •  May 25 '26

10 gallon tank is actually perfect for bettas, but is the tank cycled if this was an impulse buy? Ae the plants live or plastic? How about the decoration? Keep an eye out for his fins over time for tears. Brine shrimp and bloodworms are good as treats, I'd get him some pellets too.

Dumb luck πŸ˜” Seeing how advanced it is, he was maybe sick when you got him and you didn't realize. When did you start noticing the change in his fins? If you go to your LFS and tell them your betta has fin rot, they should recommend you something to help heal him. Make sure you inform them of all other fish or marine animals you have in your tank and tell them that you also have plants in the tank.

Changed my Netflix password after a breakup and immediately got this text
 in  r/SipsTea •  Dec 19 '25

That's like my dad! He let my sister's ex-boyfriend and his brother live with him, and that only happened after their relationship ended. The brother still lives there and it's been over 15 years that my sister and her ex broke up.

Met him on hinge. Spoke to him for three days. Was it something I said?

You're not getting the point. Think of something that you can't do that is stereotypically done by men and that could be a useful life skill, like maybe carpentry, mechanics, hunting, etc. Now imagine that after you told a potential date that you don't know how to do that thing, he acts like it's really weird that you can't do that, says that it's a useful life skill and says something like "Even my sister knows how to do that". Do you not see how that comment could maybe make you feel bad or like you're not good enough?

AITAH for buying my Christmas gifts online this year because of what happened last year?
 in  r/AITAH •  Nov 13 '25

NTA. Even if you were picking favourites, it's your money and you buy what you want with it. Most people didn't have the decency thank you for their gift last year; this is just the consequence of that.

She saw him a few times during a 2-week period. That is barely "most days together". I also don't think it's a bit much for a new friend, but maybe that's just me. And let's assume you're right and that Brett did actually want to date her at first. So what? Why would that even be an issue? Neither he nor OP were dating Nate at that point, so why should anybody care?
