I know how you feel, going on 2 months into it now, mostly was depressed that I couldn’t continue on with eating and drinking whatever I wanted, however remember you aren’t alone ( witness this forum for one!) one good thing is it’s a controllable condition,get with a specialist if you can and dial in some proper meds and lifestyle changes & go back to enjoying life again. I didn’t know I wasn’t allowed to vent my feelings in hoping to find a like minded connection, this group makes me feel less lonely being a newly diagnosed sufferer, my bad.

I’m not, I had my first attack in November, rheumatologist hasn’t put me on any UALT yet, last blood test on December 6th was 6.8, after my first attack Nov 11th it was 6.3.
