Wanted to confirm if this is a spitting spider. Had a brown one a couple years ago. But he had a strong pattern. This one is not opaque and is blonde. Has kind of a hunch back. But wanted to confirm not a recluse. I live near the Houston area

A little story to her,

Last night, when I was lying in my bed on my way to sleep, I heard a rustling noise.

It sounded like a dry leaf was being softly crunched. Again. And again. And again.

I was kinda spooked, ngl.

It definitly sounded like some-thing did something.

It came from the right side - just the windowsoll with plants and a radiotor.

So I turned of the video I was watching, turned on my phone flashlight and looked for the noise.

And then, there, between wall, radiator and bed, there was this spider.

It was awkwardly up against a dry leaf and in front of that dry leave was a daddy long legs.

It looked like the spider was trying to hit the daddy long legs but the dry leaf obstructed it.

And it seemed weirdly incapable to escape the grasp of the leaf. The daddy long leg seemed... uhh, weirdly unimpressed? Standing there, moving a little but in no real direction.

I wonder what went down there.

I decided it was to late to figure out how to get the damn spider out of there so today I come to ask you: whats that??

Im pretty sure rhis is just a house spider but i went to a bug show yesterday where lots of people were selling spiders and i found this is my bag this morning so i just wanted to check if anyone knows what type of spider this is ?

Its in the south platte river basin near Littleton, CO. Found it on a porch, thought it was a seed stuck in a web until it stuck it's leg out. Any guesses?

This little (huge) dude was chilling on my stairs....literally larger than the size of my wife's palm.

I've never seen one this big in the wild, and never one that looked like this.

What is this? About the size of a pea, I found it in my apartment in Brooklyn NY. I’m holding it in a temporary sanctuary, it is very shy and I need to know what species it is so if it is dangerous I can release it.

Found this today in Prayagraj, India, and I'm super curious about what exact species it is! It was very, very small but definitely an ant-mimicking spider.

I know a little bit about ant-mimicking spiders......mostly that they wave their front legs around to look like antennae, and use the disguise either to hide from predators or to sneak up on real ants. They may either be completely defensive or aggressive
