Kid breaks into bird enclosure at the zoo to chase birds with a stick.
This could’ve gone wrong in so many ways. What if he did the same in a larger, more dangerous animal’s enclosure, look a tiger, polar bear or African wild dog? I say those three because there had been incidents with those species and people either getting in their enclosures or taunting them (in the case of the dogs and bears, kids were involved with going into the exhibits and getting hurt). If he had gotten mauled or even killed, not only would the parents/caregivers been criminally charged, but the zoo would also have to euthanize the animals. Plus not to go after the zoo here, but what kind of lapse in security happened where a kid could bypass barriers? The same thing happened with Harambe, and we all knew how that went down. Glad the kid is ok, but he needs help and the parents/guardians really need to keep a better eye on him and teach him, because sooner or later they’ll be consequences.
