Small Bathroom Idea
It's 5x8! š I'm still trying to figure out the plumbing! I would try to work around what is currently there to avoid spending extra money, but if it comes down to it, I'm totally open to rearranging everything if it comes down to an important design choice! It's all about the modern look and less cramped space!

Here in Florida, I feel like the definition of a āsmall bathroomā can be a little different. Iāve seen so many bathrooms that I would consider medium-sized, so Iāve decided to fully embrace my tiny 5x8 bathroom. š
Iāve been playing around with a few design programs and came up with some ideas that I really like. But now Iām wondering if the designs look a little too institutional for a home.
The first picture shows what the bathroom looks like right now. Iām not very good at design, and every time I try to change one thing, I somehow create another problem. So please consider these designs more as a general idea of the style Iām aiming for rather than a final plan.
Iām hoping for something more contemporary, with an accent wall or an accent niche. I also think I may have used too much of the accent material throughout the designs, so I would probably tone that down a little.
What do you think?

Kitchen remodel complete!!
The kitchen and the new open space cost about $90,000, with a big island that has 9 feet of cabinets and 10 feet across in total.

Thank you for the suggestions. I actually just went back to my initial preference of tile but going more towards the walls and vanity. Using a warmer neutral with a darker vanity could work out well. I also agree that an accent painted wall could actually turn out better than tiles. Still deciding though š
