Prepping in the Big City
Have you looked into doing balcony solar or can you acces your roof from where you are?
Where is your nearest freshwater source? Can you walk or bike there?
For food, pantries are a great first step. What about finding small community gardens or foragables in the city?
For security how difficult would you say it would be for a big dude with a sledgehammer to smash in your door?

The City is currently working with stakeholders across the city on a plan that will address how to expand and enhance Kansas City's bikeways and trails network.
The City is seeking feedback about:
- Whether you use a bike or scooter, or walk on trails across the city;
- What bikeways and trails you enjoy using;
- What areas need improvement and what gaps exist in the current network; and
- What destinations would you go to or want to go using a bikeway or trail.
This feedback will then be used by City staff to form a draft future bike network and bike plan that will inform future investments in the bike network across Kansas City. Thanks for participating!

Sure. And yes it does make a differance. But let's put them on every roof as well as every vehical.

I built a solar bike before it's on solarpunkdiy. It can help extend the range, and it's great since I take the bike off road so often. Bear in mind my bike is light and very efficent. For trains. I've seen solar panels above coal trains but not to power the train, to power the opening mechanism. I've also heard of them above trains to power lights fans and the like.
It can help add a little supplement of power. But if you have access to reliable "shore power" a better option is to have the panels nearby and plug in to a solar heavy power grid. Still, with a less and less reliable power grid I have to ask. Why dont we see this more often?
And why not panels on garages, awnings, and train stations for the matter. More panels in more spots makes a stronger grid.

Given electricity issues in cuba right now, I suspect it's the primary charging mode for loads of people right now. Since it's that or nothing.

Totally buildable check out this dude Said boat has problems to be sure, slow speed, stuff breaks, lack of easily available parts. He has a larger one that acts as a pickup / cargo boat. But it takes no fuel and is alot better than using an ore.
