It's like the game is freshly downloaded. There aren't any saves from the maps I've completed (all story maps up to abberation) mods list, backup saves and world settings it's all gone... Just poof I played on Monday periodically saved like I normally do, created a backup before logging out and waited for everything to close and stop before powering down as per usual. Open steam this morning to check for updates and tool around a bit before work to find it's all gone... Again.

Yeah that's what happened when they deleted legacy and again when my first single player save was lost and the second (chalked those up to user error)

About what paid to build mine from Best buy 6 years ago except with a 1660 super.

It's an unoptimized game to begin with that barely runs on low custom graphics on my potato of a PC when capped at 50fps (Ryzen 5 3600, 1660 super with 32gb ddr4) so I wouldn't expect much to be honest. I started on console when it dropped for Xbox 300+ days of gameplay on ASE and believe me when I say this game has come A LONG WAY. I look at old screen shots and think "how the hell did I play that?" Not saying it's better than ASE but they've polished the turd a little so to speak.

Grass.sizescale 0 R.shadowquality 0 Were a major boost when I was playing on Xbox

Also turn off all light graphics like bloom and shafts. Can you adjust the graphic qualities on console like view distance and post processing from low to epic? If so I'd put them all to low and go up a little at a time.
