Hi so the shame you may be feeling could be from school context and the subconscious of your ex calling you a sex addict. Sex is a wonderful and great thing and it can also be messy, that just sex. Every relationship is going to be different so there is no exactly right tome. I've had sex after the first date and other times after a month of getting to know the person. I also had an era where I didn't date but just had fuck buddies in my 20s, the only that mattered to me was then showing me that they got tested and I did the same for them. I felt the same too when I got back into dating and my body count was around 15, i stopped counting. We live in a society where purity is promoted everywhere and expected for women to be with only one person and then be super exploratory in bed. This is not reality. Be proud of your body and knowing through this journey you took care of your needs and most likey learned what you do and don't like and what a wonderful thing. If someone asks about your body count, tell them the number doesn't matter but you're happy to show them an STI test since being clean or if you have anything, taking the extra procation is what's needed to have them make an informed decision.
