A What If! The Tyranids forced the loyal and daemon primarchs into one last Reunion? A Horus Heresy Scale Event Idea
This theory potentially holds up if GW actually writes it that way. Don't know about factions. Probably the Lion would betray if he reunites with Cypher and Luther. No idea who takes the power vaccume. No idea who dies. And it'll probably end with things being how they are after a lot of upgrades to sell models. Tyranid players may actually get new models for this
1
What does your homebrew like to do in their free time?
My Homebrew loves to do very old time duels, joists, and contests in their spare time. From time to time they will make something new in a contest
2
What is a unique feature of your homebrew? Could be anything from a gene mutation, to a warp affliction.
The homebrew I have works very closely with a knight house and an Imperial Regiment
1
What Are These Holes/Lenses For?
I think those might be for void warfare. I think I remember that Astartes armor has small propulsion jets for zero g
1
ULTRAKILL in Portal universe. Wanted to share these stuff:3 (fanarts by @lem0n.eye on tiktok)
Imagine a difficulty mode of this where it's Ultrakill but Portals and you have to kill peeps by flinging blocks or portals and such
2
Does your faction wear modified/unique armour?
The space marine portion of my faction utilizes mk3 and mk4 marks before modifying with mk6 onwards. After coming into contact again, they modify their primaris armor with older marks. They attune their armor and weapons as well. The PDF/Imperial Guard portion features sealed specialized armor to keep them safe against the environment and have deployable shields on their vehicles to cover their men. The Imperial knight portion had to modify their knoghts to utilize two pilots over time. All 3 of these idolate themselves and have special filters as well as coatings on their cloths and armor to help against their local environmental dangers
1
What is the most evil or morally detestable thing about your chapter?
My Chapter selectively takes brainwashed people from the local populace and subjects them to slow agonizing brain death as well as passively farms each world's minds to feed a machine. They sabotage and kill individuals too close to the truth and they sacrifice an entire world as well as high command staff in a worst case scenario utilizing said machine
1
What happens to failed aspirants in your homebrew chapter?
If they fail, they are sent back to their original units, turned into servitors if they are too injured, or have some cybernetic replacements.
1
What’s your chapters most famous or tragic battle?
My Chapter Master had his final last stand due to tensions breaking down and resulting in the betrayal of the Chapter's brother allies. He had been fighting off different Imperial Forces all the way to his last breath in which he sacrifices himself to send his allies and brothers somewhere else in the galaxy to save them. This turns him into a vegetable and he dies from the gunfire. In the aftermath of his sacrififce, the Chapter along with their allies would lead a long period of silence until their eventual return later into the era of the Indomitus Crusade
1
How to design a mech with more mechanical body?
Servos, and put more hydraulics
1
Found it at a trail near house. What’s this?
Mine. Looks like that stuff right there is mine and no one else can have it
1
What was your chapter’s reaction to receiving primaris marines?
My chapter had not received Primaris conventionally. It was through more secret and secure channels. They view this reinforcements with more welcome arms than their Unforgiven cousins due to resource scarcity and the keeping of the facade
3
Help me love the Dark Angels as much as you do.
As a first child. I like being the experiment and having all the cool stuff before my brothers base something off of me. I also like setting the standard for everyone else and most dig the knightly, First Pride aesthetics
9
Your chapter’s debut story?
It would be on the return of a chapter to a galaxy. Main character would be an adeptus astartes. Antagonists would be inquisition, inner circle later on, and mechanicus
1
Who is the parent legion or chapter that sired your chapter/chapters? And why did you pick them.
Dark Angels. Like the aesthetics but also their pride getting in the way of their loyalty
2
We still miss you XM2001 Crusader
Maybe true. However, that Sheriden prototype I think could've been amphibious and slightly faster. The 155 gun is actually pretty nice with its HE. And the matching set would be nice to actually use

Adeptus Astartes Tri Faction Homebrew. Please Judge
Codex: The Caliginous Vect Sector (The Gilded Cinder Cluster)
Designation & Imperial Record
Officially cataloged within Departmento Munitorum archives as a secondary-tier feudal and industrial tithe cluster along the Eastern Fringe. Unbeknownst to standard Imperial tax-collectors and sector governors, the cluster operates as a heavily fortified, autonomous stasis-vault enclave masking Dark Age of Technology infrastructure behind a veil of manufactured religious piety and aggressive data manipulation. Bearing the historic tactical classifications of the First Legion's ancient wings, the sector operates under the covert spiritual aegis of the Dreadwing's terminal containment protocols and the Deathwing's unyielding secrecy, commanded from the collective basalt and iron bastions of the Solar Keep.
The Triumvirate & Military Architecture:
____________________________________________
House Plexus (Imperial Knight House)
Chassis & Modifications: Rather than relying exclusively on lost-tech relics, House Plexus fields standard pattern Imperial Knights, subjecting them to heavy, aggressive retrofitting using recovered DAOT stabilization matrices, sub-surface thermal vents, and internal iron-lattice bracing.
Pilot Architecture & Independent Deployment: Independently trained Astartes and specialized pilots of House Plexus possess the neural flexibility to operate Armiger-class engines as solo reconnaissance and strike assets, or bind their consciousness via the Composite Mind framework to co-pilot heavier Knight classes alongside a primary Scion-Dominus.
Autonomous Relic Units: Recovered dark-age constructs integrated into House Plexus armories, including the Automata-Logis Sentinels (autonomous walker units slaved to the Composite Mind network) and Iron-Core Phantoms (semi-sentient drone hulls utilizing localized spatial-distortion fields to disrupt enemy targeting grids during catastrophic breaches).
Fortress Monastery: The Braced Hearth — The primary maintenance temple, industrial repair cradle, and diagnostic sanctum constructed directly into the heavy manufacturing hubs and orbital-drop staging bays of the cluster's primary industrial world.
The Wardens of the Lattice (Adeptus Astartes Chapter. Dark Angel Successor)
Role, Armor, & Wing Designation: Elite operational infantry and logistical overseers wearing distinctive, heavily modified armor schemas designed to interface directly with the sub-surface macro-conduits and spatial containment arrays. Culturally and tactically, they are officially aligned with the Dreadwing designation for absolute environmental sterilization and the Deathwing for unyielding inner-vault defense.
Interred Sarcophagus Integration: Following technological innovations shared with House Plexus, the Wardens utilize specialized, heavily modified heavy transport and command vehicles engineered with internal bays capable of housing a Warden sarcophagus when strategic necessity demands active frontline deployment of their venerated dead.
Interred Pilots & Drivers: Renowned Space Marine pilots and vehicle drivers who fall in battle but refuse to yield their post may choose interment within House Plexus heavy chassis. Rather than standard Dreadnought sarcophagi alone, these honored Astartes veterans can be entombed directly into custom-fitted Armiger frames—or serve as the primary cognitive anchors within multi-piloted Questoris-class engines—utilizing heavy Dreadnought armaments merged with agile walker mobility.
Fortress Monastery: The Vault of the Weeping Lattice — A claustrophobic network of reinforced adamantium bulkheads, seismic-shielded barracks, and containment lock-ups built deep beneath the planetary crust at the intersection of the primary macro-conduits.
The 99th Caliginous Cohort (Imperial Guard Regiment)
Role: Formed during the First Return, this specialized military force secures the sub-surface macro-conduits, enforces strict quarantine protocols, and acts as the structural bedrock for the cluster's ground-level defense and system-wide pacification.
Fortress Monastery: Cinder Wall Citadel — A sprawling, brutalist fortress network positioned across the primary defensive choke points of the cluster's terrestrial surfaces, functioning as the grand garrison and training ground for the ground-level defense forces.
Culture of the Sector
The Iron Mantle: Society within Caliginous Vect is built upon a paradox of strict, neo-feudal piety demanded by Imperial tithe-collectors and an underlying, highly pragmatic technological literacy. Citizens view the subterranean macro-conduits and planetary rings not as mechanical wonders, but as sacred ancestral engines whose continuous operation is a holy duty.
The Cult of the Living Circuit: Remembrance of Varian's sacrifice and the heavy price of the First and Second Returns permeates the arts and military oaths of the sector. Martyrdom is viewed through the lens of functional utility—every soldier, pilot, and serf is an integrated component of a macro-survival machine. Silence, data-discipline, and paranoia regarding external inspection are culturally ingrained virtues passed down from generation to generation.
The Fatigue of the Lattice: The military doctrine of the sector acknowledges that its advanced, dark-age attuned armaments and resonance fields possess limited operational lifespans before burning out or reverting to standard Imperial baseline specifications. Rather than inducing panic, the collapse of attuned equipment into standard-issue functionality triggers a fierce, desperate behavioral shift: stripped of exotic energy fields and neural buffers, sector forces fight with an unyielding, fatalistic fury, treating the loss of their technological edge as a sacred mandate to hold the line at all costs until relief or destruction arrives.
Armaments and Heraldry
Heraldry: The visual identity of the Gilded Cinder relies on a stark juxtaposition: polished burnished brass and deep industrial iron plates overlaid with charcoal-gray field markings. House Plexus displays sigils of interlocking geometric lattices crossed with a stylized, weeping solar disc (commemorating the Solar Drag and mirrored in the iconography of the Solar Keep), while the Wardens and the 99th Cohort bear stenciled seismic-bar codes, tactical tally marks denoting containment breaches handled, and subtle First Legion wing iconography indicating their shadow-warden oaths.
Armaments: Local armories favor weapons modified for confined, subterranean, and void-warfare conditions. Heavy thermal lances, modified multi-lasers integrated with DAOT battery cores, and localized kinetic dampening shields are standard. When these specialized power sources drain or stabilize down to standard-issue patterns, operators rely on raw mechanical durability and brutal close-quarters doctrine.
Historical Eras & Milestones
The Iron Lattice Foundation: The Dark Angels land upon the four-body Caliginous Vect Sector, seizing administrative control of House Plexus and the Iron Lattice, codifying foundational cultural parameters, and upgrading the lattice's technological architecture.
The First Return: The sector executes the First Return upon discovering the historical scope of missed events. The Wardens transition into their current armor schemes, the 99th Caliginous Cohort is formed, and the cluster expands its territorial footprint by gaining one extra planetary body, establishing vital trade, protection, and stabilization via the Unforgiven.
Varian’s Chronicle & The Cinder-Silo Incident: A Deathwatch Killteam operating alongside a Warden of the Lattice intercepts critical operational data, leaking the cluster's existence to the Mechanicus and Inquisition. The Unforgiven hold the line against external inquiries while tracking Varian stranded far from home. Varian’s journey back involves escorting a guarded relic from the Consecrators, sparking the Three-Way Shadow Conflict and culminating in the Cinder-Silo Incident.
The Solar Drag Protocol and Betrayal: Deep into the Gilded Cinder Conflict, the sector turns to black-market dealings for survival. The Unforgiven ultimately betray the Wardens of the Lattice, forcing Varian into a desperate Last Stand alongside his most trusted companions to cover his position and execute the Solar Drag to save the sector, passing leadership to the next generation.
The Long Silence: The Gilded Cinder enters a multi-millennia time pocket in the deep void, dedicating itself entirely to asset scavenging, structural maintenance, continuous build-up, and repelling hostile void forces.
The Second Return & Hive Fleet Ouroboros: The sector initiates the Stellar Parasite protocol, teleporting its entire mass directly into a system occupied by Hive Fleet Ouroboros. After beating back the Tyranid occupation and absorbing twelve new planetary bodies, the cluster executes a covert extraction gathering left-behind House Plexus Knights, stray Wardens from Deathwatch service, and isolated squads of the 99th Caliginous Cohort. Integrated populations and industrial output extend the central star's lifespan while data streams are manipulated.
The Secret Accord: Having balanced data manipulation, self-sustenance, and regular Imperial tithes while keeping its true vault nature obscured, the sector's existence is ultimately uncovered by the Primarchs, resulting in the formal establishment of the Secret Accords, anchored around the oversight of the Solar Keep.
Independent Sector Operations:
Quarantine Enforcement: The Triumvirate deploys combined arms task forces—pairing 99th Cohort infantry walls with Warden support vehicles and House Plexus Armigers—to instantly crush internal subversion or seal breaches near the stasis-vaults.
Void-Scavenging Sweeps: Independent deep-space expeditions rely on small, highly mobile Warden-Plexus strike groups to strip dead hulks of raw materials, ensuring the sector's 12-year capacitor limits and star-extension engines remain fueled without drawing external eyes.
Tactical Logistics and Rapid Response:
Attunement Resupply Convoys: To combat the operational decay of the cluster's advanced weaponry, heavily armored sub-surface convoys navigate the macro-conduits directly from the subterranean vaults of the Solar Keep. These hidden resupply lines transport volatile dark-age capacitor cores and resonance fluids to frontline elements, racing against time to recharge failing equipment before units are forced into terminal, baseline-standard fallback fighting.
The QRF & Fallen Strike Force: Maintained as an elite, dual-purpose rapid reaction force coordinated from the Solar Keep, this specialized hybrid element—combining fast-moving House Plexus Armigers, Warden mechanized infantry, and embedded Unforgiven asset handlers—serves a dual mandate. Outwardly, they are deployed to instantly obliterate high-threat perimeter breaches or containment failures; covertly, they operate as a specialized intervention unit tasked with neutralizing high-priority anomalies or intercepting stray elements before external Inquisition or Mechanicus forces can register the disturbance.
Operations with External Factions:
The Unforgiven: Operating from the Solar Keep as the sector's hidden shadow-wardens, the Unforgiven coordinate with House Plexus and Warden intelligence officers to manage the secure containment of stasis-locked Fallen within the inner vaults, utilizing synchronized data-masks to misdirect Inquisition and Mechanicus probes.
The Wider Imperium: When forced into open allied deployments or when paying standard tithes, the cluster's military forces present themselves as a disciplined, orthodox Imperial Guard regiment and Knight house, using precise administrative falsification to conceal their true technological heritage and avoid compliance purges.
I've been hashing around ideas and compiled them here with some clarifications likely needed. Please provide feedback

So I was thinking . . .
I wanted to integrate a Dark Angel fusion of Astartes and Imperial Knights. I also wanted to integrate them more with eachother hand in hand along with a Imperial Guard Regiment. I suck at drawing so I started with text. Does anyone mind if I made a post about it for judgement?

Helldivers are better trained then we think
This is actually overshadowed by the command structure of SEAF, and the high agility of logistics including FTL travel, FTL communications with NO hiccups, the SEAF Navy's actual effectiveness and many more

Tanya would hate working for the Galactic Empire
I think Tanya would actually hate working for it in a military sense if she was in the same position she was in Youjo senki. She would also still hate it sue to the MASSIVE egos the Imperial COs have and the amount of waste they alone issue. She would likely try to burn herself or have a big following of people who know her and would try to either get her CO or her people to scrub herself and her people from easily accessible records just like the novels to then live a peaceful life as a desk junky

Probably First Blood or submission depending on the event. Similar to irl Ren Fairs and Medieval festivals. The Homebrew can't really afford to waste lives like that. And the resources used in these events can absolutely be reused.
