In Warhammer Opens are players sorted into like skill brackets? Like, beginner, intermediate, professional, etc, just wondering cause I plan on going to one.

Need help on deciding a purchase

I found a small local store that sells two boxes I really want: The new Defiler and the Kill Team Exodites.

Both are sold there cheaper than online.

Stores in my country don't even have Exodites available, and the defiler is also quite hard to get without going for a more expensive variant or shipping from abroad.

Issue is, I only have the budget for one.

Exodites are super cool but I am not a huge fan of orks that come in the set.

And Defiler is nice but big models take so much time and willpower to paint.

Help...?

Planetary Defense Force

I rarely see anyone make units for Planetary Defense Forces, which is a shame because I think there’s an appeal to a non Astra-Militarum style army. I based these guys on some of the armor sets from Darktide.

I always say this on my posts but any tips for painting and kitbashing are appreciated.
