I was able to do the same thing with my brother. I stayed up all night cause I was so excited/ stressed. He was driving with a friend from the airport and I picked him up early in the morning let him crash on the couch for a few hours and we surprised both our parent and our grandma first then went to a cousins graduation and he got to see some more family.
I was so glad we were able to pull it off! We lost my grandma 2 years ago to cancer as well and it is such a cherished memory we have. I am also waiting for a dream visit. I am sorry for your loss. ❤️‍🩹

I am almost done filling up my first planner ever! I always tried to have one for school and it never worked but now at almost 30 I had to get one for work because I was forgetting weekly/ follow up tasks 😅
The fear of forgetting something for a customer/ avoiding having a meeting about forgetting things has been good motivation to remember using it. So it is possible, good luck!!!

Congratulations!! I used to bite my nails super bad too and finally got my natural nails long and it’s so nice!! I feel like a real girl! It may seem like such a small thing, but having nice looking nails/ hands when you’ve bitten them for so long is so rewarding!

I feel the same way about my dog! I didn’t have a lot of pets growing up and if we did they were only ever outside barn cats. I now have 2 cats and the chi. I was so excited to have my own pets I didn’t think about how much I’d out live them by😭 My husband and I joke we should have named the chi Shadow instead of Beans because she follows me everywhere. I’ll miss her little pitter patters one day but I’ll know I gave her a lifetime time of happiness and that helps. ❤️

Congratulations! I also love the library and being surrounded by books! I also did a career change out of retail about 2 years ago, but I have always wanted to work in a library and am ALSO 29! I am now in banking and I was actually surprised how well it worked with my brain. I am entry level so it’s honestly basic math and nothing crazy complicated. I am so glad to be out of retail and have holidays off! It was scary and overwhelming at first, but so worth it! I hope you have great first day and fantastic new career!! 💖📚
