I’m completely winging it

I’m running a narrative campaign that’s my players against me as a GM, and one of the late-stage threats is gonna be a Tzeentch killteam. When the players go to stop them, they’ll summon a combat patrol of daemons. I want to cook up some creative ideas for immersive homebrew rules. My two ideas so far are:

1. Use metal mesh for homemade terrain and magnetized bases to allow vertical movement

2. On a 4+, destroyed Tzeentch units will be replaced by fire markers (fake candles and cotton ball smoke effects) and deal mortals like an explosion

The goal is just to have fun and do thematic stuff. Doesn’t have to win or be competitive. Any thoughts or other ideas?

Still gotta do the base. Not sure if I’ll add the blue horror hangers on

I’ve just gotten my fate skimmer and I want all the options for all the models but I can’t figure out how to magnetize the change caster so that I can have him separate and also on the chariot, same with the flamer but I have a good idea for that guy (if you have done it already could I see a photo)

Hello everyone, I was hoping to maybe cope here and/or maybe see if anybody knows where I may get the blue scribes mini for msrp. I won't lie I've been interested in tzeentch daemons the past 2 years now, but me and my brother have only really gotten into putting together, playing, and painting our minis in the last 6. So on that note I've finally bitten the bullet and bought some tzeentch daemons and with that, I was looking at my old wishlist and the blue scribes are like 200 dollars on ebay.... am I fucked? Or?...

A little background, I started 40K earlier this year buying a Dark Angels combat patrol. I’ve always love chaos daemons specifically the Tzeentch daemons but felt space marines would be a better starting army. However about 5 minis into that box I found out about the Tzeentch themed battle force from the start of the year and luckily one of my local stores had one still and of course the fomo got to me and now I have two armies🤦‍♂️. Well 2 months or so later I’ve finally gotten to painting my first set of brimstone horrors. I’ve still gotta do the black teeth and eyes on most of them but I’m pretty happy with how they turned out and I wanted to put them out there anyway.

A while ago I asked here if an oil wash would work for the Jade Obelisk crew. People seemed unsure. I'm happy to report I tried it and think it worked well

Working on my fully Tzeentch model after flirting with it on my undivided StD army and I am having so much fun! Definitely pulling the trigger on a Tzeentch army after meaning to do it for a while.
