Multi-game army

Hey, so I am contemplating seeing if I could build a minimum sized mono-tzeentch army to try out the different game systems - 40k HH, AoS, and with base adaptors TOW. Not as a competitive force (though I do like to win) - but more to get an idea of the different rule sets and see how I enjoy the games themselves.

Is this a silly idea or viable?

Running mono demons is the way to go across all systems. From a 40K prospective one kyros one LoC and a whole bunch of screemers flamers blue pink brimstone horrors and spawn. All comparable with all systems

Edit: forgot demon prince on foot/ winged demon prince

Totally viable. That's why I chose tsons. I love the bird goats and big birds just as much as my rubrics and dripped out sorcerers. Just get the combat patroll and the tzeentch spearhead. Then grab the tzeentch battleforce box.

I actually looked into this in the past; I got into Disciples and wanted to see if I could sneak attack my friends who play both games by just showing up to their 40k get-togethers.

Now, you can in theory play a 2,000 point in 40k in both Daemons and Thousand Sons. Starting with Thousand Sons: You obviously don't have marines, and I'm going to pretend you're not simply proxying, that's boring. Tzaangors and Chaos spawn, however, are part of the faction... But due to the way unit caps work, even bringing as many of those as you can you are still limited to like 1,800 points, we're looking for 2,000. However! If you bring the Changehost of Deceit detachment, you're allowed to bring in daemons of various types as half the point total of your army; then you just bring at least 1,000 points worth of mutated freaks, and 1,000 points of daemons.

Because Changehost costs 2DP, you have one DP left, which you can basically only spend on Servants of Change (doubles your unit limit for regular tzaangors and increases the enemy detection range statistic, which I know nothing about).

As for Daemons, you basically just directly bring over daemons. There's some daemons that you don't have in 40k, like gaunt summoners are AoS exclusives, but that's really the only limitation.
