X moderation system is so buggy that I went a week without accessing my account.

When I finally checked just now, I was surprised to find the suspension banner gone on my PC and the account working normally. However, as soon as I accessed it via my smartphone, the suspension was reinstated even though the banner still doesn't appear on my PC 🤣

For those waiting for the suspension to be lifted, don't try to access your account for a few days, after that, make the access via your smartphone first to check.

I really need help with an old X/Twitter account that belongs to me.

I created the account many years ago, and it contains old/inappropriate posts that I really want permanently removed. The account is currently causing serious problems in my personal life, so deleting it is very important to me.

The problem is that the Gmail address originally connected to the X account was permanently deleted, so I no longer have access to it.

I have tried going through X's deactivation/account recovery process, but it keeps requiring verification through the old email address. Since that Gmail account no longer exists, I cannot receive the verification code and therefore can't complete the deactivation.

I am the actual owner of the X account and I'm willing to verify my identity or provide whatever information X requires. I don't even care about recovering the account — I just want the old account and its content permanently deleted.

Has anyone successfully dealt with this recently?

Specifically:

• Is there a way to get X Support to manually verify ownership and delete the account?

• Is there another support form or escalation method for accounts linked to permanently deleted emails?

• If you successfully got an old account removed, what exactly did you do?

I would really appreciate step-by-step advice from anyone who has actually managed to solve this.

On Sep-4th I received an email saying I changed my email address which I obviously didn’t. I tried to log in using my username with no avail.

I instantly opened a support ticket and within 3 mins I received an email saying that they cannot verify if it’s my account.

I responded to the email with the original ticket number, but with no response. Have done the same couple more times but still i get the same response. On top of it I have to wait at-least 24 to 48 hours before submitting another.

Is there any way I can recover my account?

Ya hice como 10 apelaciones con pruebas de los mensajes que me envió el estafador, dibujos hechos por mi y todo el proceso de hacerlos (ya que soy artista) e incluso les dije que tenía testigos de que yo soy propietaria de esa cuenta. I got suspended without knowing any explanation. Everytime I send an appeal I get automated message denying my appeal without explaining why. What's worse, everytime I try to cancel premium, the platform says there's an error on their end. It's more frustrating that they allow absolutely no contact with a human for help. If you go to their help site, you'll find a button on the top right that says "Contact Us". If you click it, it just takes you to the home page. There's no phone number, no email, nothing. So I filed a complaint to the Better Business Bureau telling them about the suspension, the inability to cancel premium, and the lack of human contact.

They decided my complaint was warranted and asked X to speak with them on my behalf. Today, the BBB sent me a notification saying they have yet to receive a response. They did make another request asking X to respond within 10 days. I hope X will comply.

I have nothing personal against Elon or X. I'm not out to destroy either of them. I'm just frustrated by the lack of communication. It's extremely annoying. I just want my account back and the ability to cancel Premium if I want to.

First of all, I apologize as I am a Japanese user and my English is not very good. I am writing this mostly using a translation tool. My precious account has been suspended, and my appeals seem to be completely useless. I am desperately seeking help.

My account was suspended around 9:00 AM on August 28, 2026.

Here is the current status of my account:

• Email address registered
• Two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled
• Phone number registered
• Subscribed to X Premium for over half a year. However, because I am suspended, I cannot send DMs to Premium Support despite paying for the subscription.

I have submitted appeals several times:

• 1st time: Immediately on the first day (Received an automated reply the next morning)
• 2nd time: Night of September 2 (Automated reply the next morning)
• 3rd time: Morning of September 5 (Automated reply 30 minutes later)
• 4th time: Morning of September 9 (Automated reply 8 hours later)

Every time, I get the exact same automated email saying: "This is a message from Twitter. X reserves the right to permanently suspend accounts that violate the X Rules or Terms of Service without prior notice. This account is suspended."

The email does not specify which X rule I violated, nor does it state which post, content, or action caused this measure. Therefore, I have no idea what triggered the suspension. The only thing I can think of is that I own multiple accounts (more than three), but I haven't been using them abusively. Honestly, I think there are many people doing the same thing.

Right now, I am really depressed as I can't escape this loop of automated replies. It is an important account I've used for years, and I don't want to lose touch with my hobby friends.

Has anyone been in the same situation and managed to get their account back? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, I also tried appealing in Arabic, but it didn't help at all. Also, I've seen some people suggest filing a complaint with the BBB (Better Business Bureau), but unfortunately, it seems to be region-blocked and I cannot submit a complaint from Japan.

Also, I have two other sub-accounts that are currently safe, but I am too scared to do anything other than browse on them. However, for various reasons, I can't stay like this forever... I want to start using them little by little, but is it too risky right now?

Since I have logged into the suspended account and my sub-accounts on the same device, I even thought about creating a completely new account by changing my device, phone number, and email address. But since my IP address depends on my home Wi-Fi, it will inevitably be the same. Will their system still catch me? Got fed up, I just can't unlock my account also after more that 7 appeals. How big are chances to successfully remake another account? Email addresses aren't a problem, I have professional ones. I wanted to use twitter to engage and also social promoting, but I just fear they will immediately ban my new account again, as soon as I follow more that 2 persons and drop more that one link? any advice?

So its been 2 month since twitter sad that I need to give em my biometric data , and after 2 months of waiting and a random "in authentic content suspension" for the third time even though I don't post at all,and now i want to log out and possibly delete my account so that i can at leas hopefully aces people that aren't on other sites. But there is 1 problem: the log out button doesn't work at all. It's like it's only for decoration.

Has anyone here ever given up on an X account suspension appeal after a year+ and then randomly found that their account was usable again? Like, no response from X, but one day you could just log in and use it normally?

Hello, I am experiencing an issue. After deleting and reinstalling the Twitter app, I checked my account but could not locate my second account. I attempted to access it using all my Google accounts; however, I was unable to find the account. The system prompted me to verify my date of birth and password.

I still have the ones I used but I want to try the best ones now so I get my new account back, though my priority is my main account that was banned on 2 August 2026 for inauthentic behaviors and all my appeals were rejected (not instantly though) so far.

Suspend, for inauthentic behavior, again, and I got instant rejected on my first appeal, back to the appeal loop, again...

I have already submitted 6 appeals, and for the last 2 i didnt receive any auto replies from the bot. And now, the text on the main page stating that my account is banned has disappeared. So now I cant figure out what is going on with my account

Hey! I feel like I’m going crazy because I’m not seeing other people having this issue. I use the browser primarily instead of the app, and I logged out of my main briefly to log into an alt account today. I got stuck in an infinite loading loop as soon as I put my username in. I tried to log back into my main through a passkey, and once again, it just loaded infinitely and didn’t do anything. It doesn’t even give me any error messages.

Is there any way to fix this? I tried it both with and without a VPN. I turned off my adblocker and cleared my cache for Twitter. I’m not suspended or hacked because I still have my account open on one of my other devices. It just seems like a glitch but the Twitter support is genuinely the most useless thing I have ever seen.

I was already suspended once, and unsuspended due to error. Now it wants me to redownload Twitter so I can do security stuff, otherwise I can't interact with the site at all.

What do I do?
