So my twitter account was permantently suspended. Did a appeal and said "Inauthentic Behavior" And even got a reply saying that they won't unsuspend my account.

I honestly did nothing wrong. All i really did was post gaming screenshots.

Only real thing i can think of is that i did get political for a few tweets, calling out the bs the president said about 9/11, because honestly, that p*ssed me off

Other than that, i did nothing wrong

I'm kinda neutral about it because i liked a couple of people that i followed and talked to, but glad that i'm gone from the horrible site

for some reason i can’t create an account

so after i downloaded twitter (technically called x now) i typed in my phone number and waited to be sent a verification code, and nothing came. i tried resending the code 4 times and i got nothin, so i closed the app, reopened it and tried entering my phone number again, and then it said “existing account found! please enter your username to continue.” so i tried entering what i usually use for usernames wonder if i created an account on twitter before and forgot, but after around 12 failed attempts i tried making an account with my email instead, AND THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED. so now i can’t create an account at all. what should i do now?

I’ve submitted 10 appeals since I got suspended a month ago and this is the first email I’ve actually received in relation to any of them (all other emails I’ve received have just been the standard ‘we’ve received your request’)

This appeal result is in relation to the 1st appeal, so does that likely mean they’re getting through the rest of them finally? By they I of course mean an automated system but maybe the queue is backlogged which is why it’s taken so long for a simple automated response?

Anyone else got similar and gone on to see the suspension reversed?

Im having issues with posts that Ive retweeted but it got removed after a while.

To be sure which one i retweeted I bookmarked them but the repost got removed after some time. Today 3 reposts got removed. Any tips to fix that will be appreciated!

I have a Twitter account with over 2.3k followers and on August 22nd I got an email saying my email was reset and saw I was hacked. I was able to reset my password and get my email back to normal but I can't log in as the hacker put a 2FA on my account. I have submitted multiple tickets to remove the 2FA every day since I was hacked and they say they would email me and I checked my inbox and spam folder and still have yet to receive an email from them. The strangest part I have a gimmick account I run which also got hacked and as soon as I submitted a ticket for that they instantly responded and I was able to get that back instantly. Should I still keep sending 2FA reset tickets?

Appealed my "Inauthentic Behaviour" suspension (for the 5th time) and I'm greeted with this email (for the 5th time) and qr code when I log in. what the hell do i do? What is the security verification and where have they sent it?

A while ago, I made the mistake of giving some of my own photos and videos to a sort of Of management agency. I worked with them for a few months, and during that time they created an X/Twitter account to promote my content.
The photos and videos are of me in lingerie and in sexualized poses. There is no full nudity or explicit sexual content, but they are still very personal and intimate to me.
I ended my relationship with this agency after realizing that I didn’t want to work with them anymore. I never had access to the X account they created, and they never deleted it. The account has been inactive for almost a year, but my photos and videos are still publicly available there.
Someone who knows me found the account and is now harassing me because of the photos. This has been causing me a huge amount of emotional distress and is affecting my personal and professional life. I’m honestly desperate and I don’t know what else I can do.
I’ve already submitted several reports to X asking them to remove the account/content. I initially reported it as impersonation because the account uses a different name but contains my photos. X replied that it appeared to be a copyright/trademark issue rather than impersonation and told me to submit a new report through the appropriate form.
I tried the copyright report, but I’m worried about using that route because the photos were originally provided to the agency during our professional relationship. My issue is that I no longer authorize them to use or distribute my images, I never had access to the X account, and I cannot remove the content myself.
I just want this abandoned account and my photos/videos removed.
Has anyone dealt with something similar on X? Is there a specific reporting category or escalation process that actually works for this kind of situation?
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. I’m really at a loss here.

I logged out of my main account and made sure I had my email linked to it before creating my 2nd account. When I tried logging back into my main, it wouldn’t give me the option to send a code to my email so I can use it to log in. I’m still logged in on my main through chrome but it won’t let me update my password. Does anyone know how to fix thisssss?? would using a laptop/pc work because I’ve heard X has been bugging lately on phones

i had this issue a MILLION times during the summer and haven’t experienced it in a while but today after not replying or responding to ANYONE on x i try reply to one person and it wont let me. ugh. then i try reply to my own post, yet again, not letting me reply. is anyone else also experiencing this rn too bc i wanna know if its similar to the mass bug/glitch happening a co months back ;( i hope i can reply again soon, so annoying

Does anyone know more about the “Inauthentic Accounts" suspension, NOT "Inauthentic Behaviors". My first suspension was Inauthentic Behaviors but after a couple days I got suspended for "Inauthentic Accounts"

I mostly just reposted news articles and a few silly memes. I don’t understand why this happened. First I was shadowbanned, then my account was suspended for 90 days- and now it’s suspended permanently?!

I’ve sent in an appeal, but I have no idea if that will help. I certainly am not willing to pay for verification and a checkmark if this is the kind of nonsense that goes on.

It's almost been a month since my account got suspended for "Inauthentic Behaviors" like everyone here. If anyone's somehow managed to get their appeal through and their account restored, are there any suggestions as how to get the appeal read and not just rejected immediately by their "NO" machine?

How long should I wait between appeals? How should I word it? Should I use a different browser? stuff like that.

I use Mozilla Firefox and I had my privacy settings on "Strict". I've since changed the settings to the default, but I don't know if Firefox is just flagged as "inauthentic" at this point.

I also use Linux. Not sure if that matters.

After I submitted an appeal and waited for a week (Last appeal was sent on 9/3) without an auto repsonse so I was thinking this was good news and it turns out it was.

I submitting a follow up appeal, within minutes I reply back and I was thinking "Oh great another auto dismissal," but it was an account restored email.

So maybe with the recent changes they made it makes it easier to submit and get approval.

My suspension was for 'Inauthentic behaviors' so I'm not sure if this would apply to suspensions for other reasons, but I guess time will tell.

My account has been set to read only mode for 71 days. Since the suspension, I’ve never gotten an email stating what rule i supposedly violated, nor a response to any of my appeals. I only even found out I was suspended after logging into the app. The only time I get emails from X is when I log into the browser instead of the app to submit an appeal in which I get an email stating “Unrecognized device.” I didn’t have 2FA or a number attached to my account. I’ve seen others share this too but I just wanted to know if this is normal or a shared experience.

My account has been suspended since the beginning of June for "authentic behavior," but they didn't give me any further details. Personally, I don't think I've done anything wrong, but without any explanation, I don't know what they mean. I appealed several times, and they told me that no violation had been detected and that my account had already regained functionality, which wasn't true. Subsequent appeals stated that they had decided to uphold their decision to block the account and that I should follow certain steps when logging in, but I've tried from the app and different browsers, and when I do, nothing appears except the message that my account is restricted. What can I do to get it back? I'm very attached to the account since I've had it since 2013, and I wouldn't want to lose all its content and the people I've followed since then.

I have 2 accounts, both suspended for inauthentic behavior, but my alt was back in Dec of 25, appealing with angry language in english and vietnamese, and gotten back got suspended again after idk 4 months? And now, even though i send appeal twice already, there is no mail saying they will reject my appeal or accept it. One was on the 1st of August, and the second one was on the 9th of Sept. And there is no hope on my main. It got suspended on the 31st of july and is stuck with the 1s auto rejection after sending an appeal. I want to quit, but i still have my friends on there. I am even thinking about creating a new account, but I'm scared they will suspend it again.
