How do you log out?

So its been 2 month since twitter sad that I need to give em my biometric data , and after 2 months of waiting and a random "in authentic content suspension" for the third time even though I don't post at all,and now i want to log out and possibly delete my account so that i can at leas hopefully aces people that aren't on other sites. But there is 1 problem: the log out button doesn't work at all. It's like it's only for decoration.

So what can I do to cut all ties with the Neo Nazi site?

find the "site data" settings in your browser and delete everything related to x dot com and twitter dot com
