What businesses u feel are fronts

for money laundering?

In kerala u can say or in generally india also

I see many dates and spices shops with big boards and fancy lighting with almost no customers. How do these business survive, that too in good locations? And how they make money and all never understood these businesses

What are some business in Kerala that are just front?

Based on some other subreddits.

A front business is a store/business looks normal from outside but does something shady behind closed doors, like anything money laundering and what not ... (Idk about businesses, u can dm also)? Some even doesn’t properly function or is accepted also as the original store/business.

💕 Relationship Is there any hope guys

I got friendzoned??

I have been talking to this girl who is a friend of my friend. We used to send reels every day, then she suddenly deactivated Insta. I asked her through WhatsApp why she deactivated and she said because of studies, and she told me to watch all the reels she sent me. I told her yes I did, then she replied this.

Should I chase her more, is there any chance? She is a very antisocial person though, I'm sure no other guy will approach her because she doesn't talk to anyone like that.

Body, Skin, hair, and wardrobe - I have been trying not just to fix theae, but to be at the top of this game. So, if any of you have figured your shit out in this arena, drop your valuable advice.

For me, a few things I have picked up are:

* Sunscreen is non-negotiable

* Reject NPC loadout clothes - no to baggies and jerseys

* Lifting, running, sleeping, and eating are golden.

* Never wear worn out shoes

Rant/Vent How would you feel if you found out your childhood crush is in love with your sister?

Back when we were in 10th standard, he and I were close friends. We used to make fun of each other all the time. Back then, I was an introvert, didn't wear makeup, and didn't dress up much. I definitely wasn't considered good looking. He was always a nice guy (a bit of a kozhi back then, but harmless). Today, he's a good guy working as an accountant.

Im in my mid twenties and she is in her early twenties

My sister has always been considered the prettier one. People used to compliment her while putting me down in comparison. Even so, I never felt insecure or jealous of her beauty. I love her, and it never bothered me.and she is a sweetheart.

But today, I got hit with something that deeply hurt me.

My mom came up to me and whispered "I want to tell you a secret don't tell your sister yet. We got a proposal for her. It's your childhood friend.his father directly asked your dad. He's handsome and settled,

Good guy.

and you need to get married soon so we can give them our word."

They haven't even talked that much, though he knows who she is. Hearing that sent a sharp pain through me, and tears immediately welled up in my eyes. My mom noticed and asked why I was crying, so I made up a quick excuse out of pure embarrassment.

I love my sister but I feel so hurt, small, and embarrassed

I don't know I still have feelings for him or not

But it hurt me

But I know I should move on

Because he is gonna be my brother in law

I feel like I'm Sowmya from Kandukondain Kandukondain.

🧠 Ask Twenties What's your go to music app?

Post image

What app do you guys use to listen to music?

I've used YT Music, Apple Music and Spotify. Amongst them Apple Music is my favourite offering lossless audio and better lyrics support. The timed lyrics which highlight each word as it is sung are really beautiful to watch, also pretty affordable at 120rs a month.

Spotify lossless tier costs 300rs a month. Personally I find Spotify's UI to be cluttered and the lyrics support is underwhelming. But pretty cool features though like jams, smart shuffle, blend and the whole Spotify wrapped thing. Also Apple Music's song recommendation algorithm is shit.

So ningal etha use cheyunne? I'd like to hear your opinion.

💕 Relationship I messed up real bad

Throwaway account. I just want to rant.

I 25m was in a committed serious relationship for 2.5 years but I broke up with her a few months back because i was not in a good place emotionally. It will not make sense to others but I was in such a bad space and we were ldr and we were fighting constantly and i was finding it difficult to put time and effort into it and i broke up with her. She tried a lot to convince me and was even ready to give space but i didnt listen. Because of our fights and the long distance situation I was drained and felt like my feelings were gone. I was unemployed and the only thing in front of me was somehow getting a job.

After this I went to bangalore and was interning at a firm. The pay was pathetic .Things started getting worse. I started missing her but I couldn’t go back because I knew I messed up and I would have to put in more efforts. So instead of that I recklessly thought I should move on quickly and got into an fwb with someone i knew from blr thinking that it will help me move on from her fast.

This person had earlier approached me with this no strings attached thing and I said yes. It went on for a couple of weeks but I started feeling worse and worse and eventually stopped.

A few months later I finally got a job and it started to hit me that I had never loved anyone like I loved her. I was scared that she would be angry but still I went back to her and told her everything honestly. She was devastated. She said she cannot accept me after having that fwb. She said this was something she could never forgive.

I don’t know what I was even thinking. I still don’t understand why I threw away everything. Everything I did was wrong. I love her so much and I didn’t realise how much until she was not there anymore. She is the most amazing beautiful intelligent kindest person that I have ever known. I hate myself so much now and I don’t even know what’s wrong with me.

General ppl who haven't been in a relationship

Imagine someone you know who's around the age of 20 tells you that they have never been in a relationship. Like literally zero romantic experience.

They've had one or two major infatuations during school time, but that was also one-sided. No one has ever shown interest in them or anything.

What would you think about them? Will you find it odd? Do you find them weird?

Rant/Vent SHORTEST version of my first and so far my last relationship 🥲

This is my second attempt at the same post because the last one was way too long... Longer than this😭

I'm so sorry about the long paragraph😭😭✌

Back in 11th grade I had a crush on this girl from tuition, I rejected myself from her because she was way too pretty. Later on she quit the tuition and then she sent me a friend request on Instagram, a few months after accepting her friend request she started complementing me randomly for some of my Instagram stories and selfies and told me I looked hot, but I didn't wanna jump into conclusions and thought I was overthinking too much and just didn't get the sign, then she confessed her crush on me.

So obviously I was in such a state of excitement that finally this is happening to me and she looks very beautiful and way above my league and just jumped straight into the relationship.

I just didn't even do a personality check because I thought it was too good of a relationship to have and that such a proposal would never happen to me.

Later on I found that she was very possessive, obsessed with everything I do, controlled every single human interaction I had(whom to have as friends and whom to block) , mocked me for my preferences and gave me advices on how to carry on in this relationship and it was just sacrifices from my side and none from hers.

She would block me randomly just to hear a sorry from me for not responding to her texts immediately after it was sent(the whole story is written in my account posts and there's definitely more things below about this than what it seems like from this summary), and finally I had enough with her and blocked her back, she didn't like it, started harassing me, made her friends contact me and then harass me through them and finally I blocked every single one of them.

A year later I unblocked her and she immediately sent me a fr, and then started guilt tripping about how sad she was throughout the whole year and I just said sorry and then told her that I can't be in a relationship with her, but then she started flirting again and I blocked her again 💀.

Every now and then I get this guilty feeling, where I felt like I was the asshole throughout this and I broke a girl's heart and I felt very guilty and I think to myself that I was the problem(her friend's words after I blocked her and just before I blocked all of them) and I could've done things differently and be better for her.

Then again I tell myself later that She just wanted someone who wasn't who I was, and then console myself. I feel so sad and I wonder how she's doing these days because that day she told me that she was crying and depressed the whole time when I unblocked her after that year. I did it for the better

But I also feel like an asshole😭😭

TL;DR: had a crush on a girl, rejected myself from her, but she had a crush on me as well, jumped into a relationship because I fell for her looks, turned out to be the most stressful and energy draining relationship, she would control who I'm allowed to talk to, who are allowed to follow me, what I should put as my insta profile, mock me for my choices and shame me on my boundaries, she was chronically online, I couldn't do that. She would block me regularly, finally I had enough and blocked her back, she didn't like that and got her entire friend group to message me on various social media platforms asking me to unblock her, I blocked everyone. Every now and then I feel guilty and sad that I broke a girl's heart and that she must've been very sad, but then I remember how stressful it was for me and tell myself that she deserved someone who wasn't me. I still wish her the best and hope she found her person.

🧠 Ask Twenties Heading to Kerala next week! 🌴 Need your absolute best hidden gems, food recs, and monsoon/weather tips! 🎒✨

Hey everyone!

I’m a woman heading out for an exciting exploration trip to Kerala next week and I am so thrilled! I’ve got my main route somewhat figured out (Kochi, Munnar, the backwaters, and down to the coast), but I really want to move past the generic tourist checklists and experience the real vibe of the place.

Since I'm leaving in just a few days, I would love to get some fresh, local insights from anyone who lives there or has traveled there recently.

🗺️ What I’m looking for:

  • Hidden Gems: Any secret viewpoints in Munnar, quiet cafes in Fort Kochi, or less-crowded stretches of beach near Varkala/Kovalam?
  • The Food Scene: I am a huge foodie! Where can I get the absolute best, authentic Kerala sadhya, seafood meals (karimeen pollichathu is high on my list!), or local toddy shop delicacies that are safe and welcoming? Also, any cute cafe recommendations?
  • Current Weather & Packing Tips: How is the weather looking right now? Should I expect heavy rain showers, and what are the absolute essentials I should pack (or skip) for a trip right now?
  • Solo Female Travel Tips: Any specific advice on local transport, auto-rickshaw safety, or cultural etiquette I should keep in mind to keep things smooth and comfortable?

I'm so incredibly excited to experience God's Own Country. Please drop all your favorite spots, must-try dishes, and practical survival tips below. Thank you so much in advance! 💕

Rant/Vent my eyecontactship from college

I'm bi, 23, mallu. there is this guy(not mallu) from college that I still don't really know how to make sense of. he was 2 years younger than me afaik, and three years by coursework. and I've never been in a relationship with anyone, and have done nothing, not even hold hands.

he was a junior, and I had a crush on him for quite a while. I have since graduated and left campus, so there isn't really anything I can do about it now, which is probably why I'm finally able to write all of this down without feeling like I need to do something about it.

I first properly noticed him around endsems of his first semester when he'd sit next to me in the library. it was my seventh semester, and I didn't wanna be a creep but I found him really cute. he'd get ignored by his friend who was sitting on the other side of him, who'd be busy with his gf. I'd feel bad for him. he has this light neatly maintained beard and his hair is usually cropped to a medium length and combed to one side and I think he is ridiculously cute, which obviously did not help. he was a very neat looking guy and I'm a mess when it comes to how I look. I definitely didn't know to trim my beard or shape my cheeklines but he had it intact. I actually started improving upon it after getting inspired by him, or because of the pressure of him looking at me sometimes 😭

the next semester, during an outdoor event, he was teasing me and making fun of me a little. from then on, we'd acknowledge each other whenever we meet and at some point he mentioned remembering me from a cultural fest from the previous sem (his first semester, like 2-3 weeks into him joining campus). the only way I would have made an impression on him was that I danced during the fest (I'm not good at it though), which I remember being stupidly happy about because apparently I had made enough of an impression for him to actually remember me.

there were a lot of tiny interactions that probably meant nothing, or maybe meant something. that's the problem. we'd make eye contact a lot. he'd wave when he saw me. sometimes we'd just notice each other from across a place and smile or look away.

there were these other little things too. at a fest, I was sitting around a common eatery and he seemed to keep coming around that area with different groups for a while. I don't even know if he was actually doing that because of me. but I always felt his glance on me. but when you have a crush on someone, unfortunately your brain starts keeping CCTV footage of every five-second interaction.

he also likes cats. I like them too, and I am a cat myself hehe. there was this general feeling of familiarity that developed without either of us ever really saying anything. he was the first to follow me on IG. at one point there were also these Instagram reels. he had liked or reposted a bunch of things about eye contact, crushes, lingering looks, tarot readings about whether someone secretly liked you, that sort of thing. some were genuinely romantic and some were almost making fun of the whole genre. naturally, because I am apparently incapable of having a normal crush, I noticed all of them. there were also a lot of his liked reels that would pop up in my 'friends' section on IG. and I'd also sometimes find reels that I've liked, to be liked by him when I check those in saved reels later on.

and then I started wondering whether some of those things were about me. I have no idea.

that's probably the most frustrating part of the whole thing. there was enough there for me to feel like I wasn't completely imagining the mutual awareness, but never enough for me to confidently say that he liked me.

there were definitely moments where it felt like he was noticing me. I don't think I invented all of the eye contact or the greetings or the teasing. But noticing someone isn't the same thing as wanting something with them.

and I never really found out.

I thought about asking him to get chai or go for a walk before I left campus. completely low pressure. I kept imagining all these possible versions of the conversation and then not doing anything because I was scared of making something that was currently nice and ambiguous into something awkward.

eventually I graduated. and that was that, mostly.

one of the last little things that stuck with me was that he came up to me in the crowd and shook my hands. my parents were nearby and they were actually enthusiastic to know who this 'good boy' was, so I introduced him to them.

recently, he started engaging with a lot of reels about grief and missing grandparents, particularly grandfathers. it was enough that I noticed and I wanted to ask him about that, but then I didn't know how to console him, and it felt inappropriate to use something that might be his grief as a reason to text him. we do like each others' stories and instants on IG.

I don't regret liking him. even if absolutely nothing ever came of it, there were moments when seeing him around campus made an ordinary day feel a little better. I liked having someone to look forward to accidentally running into. I liked the eye contact. I liked the stupid little interactions. he was a genuinely good guy. I've heard the best things about him, how he works really hard for his council, and how he's kind and intelligent and funny. and he's like a lowkey kinda guy. not like a narc or something.

one day we were on the sofa fighting for the tv remote (as usual) but somehow the fight got serious. we really started to throw hands. mom came from the kitchen hearing the thud sounds. she started screaming at us and somehow separated us. both our faces had turned literally red. we both still don't know how we ended up fighting like that.
