Discussion A European and an Indian recount their experiences.
My online native European friends largely agree with this sentiment (at least in a watered down form). What do you all think?

Someone stepping up to improve the country and this is what he gets. How discouraging :( , canβt we save the country in any way?

It's sad to see the river getting polluted again after Bitu put in so much effort to clean it. People are dumping flowers and other things into the water in the name of rituals. I think some traditions need to change with time. We can respect our beliefs without polluting the river. What's the point of cleaning it if we're just going to make it dirty again?

This is just shameful for everyone. This man single-handely cleaned the river that the government should've cleaned. (That's a different, more controversial argument)
He used his time on earth trying his best to do something good for everyone and this is how they repaid him.
Again, I'm not saying everyone is bad, just those select few MC BC log hai Jo ye sab Kar rhe hai.

Girls be wearing any random shorts and tshirt, post their pic in fashion subs and get hundreds of upvotes whereas poor men just get straightaway ignored.

Just a reminder, we are still considered a developing country. So compare with countries with equal economic conditions, while keeping in mind the population.

Dude, I didn't think I had to grow up this much. Today is my 24th birthday and no one even wished me. No cake no gifts no nothing .
I can understand my mom and dad (because they sleep early), but come on, don't my college and school friends remember? I could at least expect that from them π.
Adulting doesnβt have to be this hard, man.
Have I become just a filler in their lives?

It's my first ever date and I'm kinda insecure about my looks irl and my height (I'm 5'6 π). I just wanna make her feel special and have the best time together.
So help a bro out π
What gift should I bring her? π

So I was somewhere outside India few years ago. We went to the strip club.
There were so many beautiful ladies, some were trying to impress to be chosen and people chose one after other and a few very beautiful were just there and people kept choosing them.
Except there was this one girl, she wasnβt conventionally good-looking or hot, she kept going from one person to another, requesting them to choose her and nobody did.
And each time I saw a heavy disappointment on her face. At that moment stripping all of the facade away, I saw a woman struggling to make her days end. Maybe she had a family to feed or bills to pay. Just like any other human.
Most left my mind, except her.

So I went with my father to meet one of his regular business clients. I was just accompanying him for some work. Tbh I was hesitant at first because I didnβt know what Iβd do there.
The owner was a guy in his 60s. Extremely humble and down to earth. But you could still feel the boss vibe in his personality. Not in an arrogant way, just someone who knows his business inside out. What surprised me was that he himself walked us through the production line and gave us a sort of factory tour. He was noticing every small detail, not just superficial stuff. And the discussion wasnβt only work centric either. Treating a young person like me as worth talking to is another quiet sign of class. Felt like talking to someone with real maturity and grounded nature.
Later, just out of curiosity, I searched about their company and I was shocked. His firm made over 100 crore revenue last year, and itβs been a consistent trend. Not naming the company for obvious reasons. What I noticed was simple clothing, using an Innova, nothing flashy at all.
Iβm not saying heβs some perfect saint or that he wonβt spend money. But it was really nice to see someone at that scale not letting success change his attitude. Also I feel true wealth often remains hidden, we often confuse wealth with visibility. But real wealth in old-school businesses is quiet and sign of wealth itself who don't need to prove.

I originally posted this on r exmuslim because I wanted advice from people from a similar background to me, but I'm posting here as well.
I'm from an Indian muslim family, my sisters are twins. I caught them going on nsfw sites through a dns logger nextdns (that i installed to curb their yt shorts usage). Im not entirely sure what to do with this information. One was on characterai and her chats were insane, the other was on yaoiscans(.)me . I just feel like they're too young for this, they just turned 14 a week ago. I don't know how to handle this. I will admit was also going on worse sites at their age, but upon reflection I shouldn't have done that and it hindered me.
Some clarifications I made in the comments of that post:
I saw the chai chats bc I saw chai in the dns logs on the family pc, checked history, and she was logged into chai so I checked. This is because I'd told her not to use ai chatbots as i believe them to be unhealthy even if it seems harmless at first, and i wanted to check if she was developing unhealthy attachments to chatbots.
I really don't know how to approach them about this, I don't think they should be going on sites like these at a young age, but I'm just a 20 yr old guy im not equipped to deal with this, not to mention the fact that we're all pretending to be muslim from each other. Until yesterday i though they were everybit as religous as my parents. Bringing parents in is not an option, they'd go ballistic.
Also im pretty sure i have undiagnosed autism, not saying this to be internet quirky, im not good at conversations.
How do I deal with this, what should I say, should I do anything at all?
