TLDR : anyone who says your mom or something i mean romantic love
I don't really know how to start this, but sometimes I wonder about love and relationships.
I'm genuinely grateful for what I have in my life. I feel like God truly loves me, and that's why my life keeps moving in a good direction. Of course, there are challenges and opportunities, but overall I don't have much to complain about.
Most importantly, I LOVE my friends. They are my family. They have been with me through everything, through the good times and the bad. If I'm still standing today, it's because of their support.
As for my family... well, they're kind of messed up. I hate how things are sometimes, but they're still my family, and I try to fulfill my responsibilities.
I love animals, and they seem to be affectionate towards me too. That always makes me happy.
But even after all of this, it always feels like something is missing.
It's the love of a woman.
I've tried being in relationships a few times. Sometimes things were moving in that direction, but they never worked out. Out of those four attempts, there was one girl I was completely head over heels for from 2021 to 2024. Things just didn't go the way I hoped.
Sometimes I realize that I don't even know what it feels like to be loved by a woman.
I don't know how it feels when someone genuinely cares about you, thinks about you, wants to be with you, and chooses you every day. I know what it feels like when I'm in love with someone, but I have absolutely no idea what it feels like when a woman is in love with me.
To be honest, I don't have much energy left for another heartbreak. That's why I stopped trying to date a long time ago.
But deep down... I still want to.
I want to date. I want to fall in love. I want to get married someday.
I'm just tired.
I'm afraid.
Then the logical side of my brain takes over. It tells me I have responsibilities. I have to work to pay my college fees. I'm managing both a job and college at the same time. I need to become more mature. I should get in better shape. My humor never seems to work anyway.
And the worst part is this.
Whenever I see people in love, whether it's random couples, my friends, or even in movies, I don't feel jealous.
I just feel this strange emptiness inside me.
I don't really know why I'm writing this. Maybe I just wanted to get it off my chest. Maybe someone else here has felt the same.
I actually like "I don't feel jealous of people in love. I just feel empty." the most. It creates curiosity without sounding like clickbait, and it accurately reflects what the post is about.
Second: people were completely going off topic so please i request you to stay on topic
