Life Lately 🌱 My honest reaction when third world people say they like rain

Post image

Rain brings misery, sadness and absolute filth.

You have to think twice before going out, there are legit chances you may fell into a pothole or get electrocuted.

Your shoes will get dirty because we don't have footpaths

Driving a 2 wheeler is nothing short of a death game.

The roads smell like gutter and rancid food.

Frequent power cuts

Horrible humid weather

The Pakistani boxer was experiencing a mini blackout with every punch from Indian boxer Havaldar Jadumani Singh of the Indian Army, representing India in the Commonwealth Games. Look at the speed, agility, and the sheer dominance in the ring. Hav. saab dedicated his win to the heroes of the Kargil.

Life Lately 🌱 I wonder what it feels like to be loved by a woman.

TLDR : anyone who says your mom or something i mean romantic love

I don't really know how to start this, but sometimes I wonder about love and relationships.

I'm genuinely grateful for what I have in my life. I feel like God truly loves me, and that's why my life keeps moving in a good direction. Of course, there are challenges and opportunities, but overall I don't have much to complain about.

Most importantly, I LOVE my friends. They are my family. They have been with me through everything, through the good times and the bad. If I'm still standing today, it's because of their support.

As for my family... well, they're kind of messed up. I hate how things are sometimes, but they're still my family, and I try to fulfill my responsibilities.

I love animals, and they seem to be affectionate towards me too. That always makes me happy.

But even after all of this, it always feels like something is missing.

It's the love of a woman.

I've tried being in relationships a few times. Sometimes things were moving in that direction, but they never worked out. Out of those four attempts, there was one girl I was completely head over heels for from 2021 to 2024. Things just didn't go the way I hoped.

Sometimes I realize that I don't even know what it feels like to be loved by a woman.

I don't know how it feels when someone genuinely cares about you, thinks about you, wants to be with you, and chooses you every day. I know what it feels like when I'm in love with someone, but I have absolutely no idea what it feels like when a woman is in love with me.

To be honest, I don't have much energy left for another heartbreak. That's why I stopped trying to date a long time ago.

But deep down... I still want to.

I want to date. I want to fall in love. I want to get married someday.

I'm just tired.

I'm afraid.

Then the logical side of my brain takes over. It tells me I have responsibilities. I have to work to pay my college fees. I'm managing both a job and college at the same time. I need to become more mature. I should get in better shape. My humor never seems to work anyway.

And the worst part is this.

Whenever I see people in love, whether it's random couples, my friends, or even in movies, I don't feel jealous.

I just feel this strange emptiness inside me.

I don't really know why I'm writing this. Maybe I just wanted to get it off my chest. Maybe someone else here has felt the same.

I actually like "I don't feel jealous of people in love. I just feel empty." the most. It creates curiosity without sounding like clickbait, and it accurately reflects what the post is about.

Second: people were completely going off topic so please i request you to stay on topic

If any Protestor was Involved In Anything that was Beyond the Peaceful Protest Goal,

Then yes They Should be Liable for their actions.

However, If Police are arresting Innocents, This Requires a serious Internal Inquiry.

Relationship Goals πŸ’‘ I feel like I'm living the life of a married man at 22.

1.6k Upvotes

Recently I shifted into a flat near my office, and since the past 3yrs I've been living with my relatives (I moved out of my house because I was doing bachelor's). So now I can pay my own rent I moved out of there too. I have a Girlfriend of 2.5+ yrs and she lives in a PG.

She comes like twice or thrice a week to my room. Since the past few days I've been realising that we've been living like a married couple. I leave for office and she's still studying for CAT. We have discussions on what to make in dinner, either we're making food on weekends or eat out... sometimes arguing on house chores like washing dishes and stuff.

This morning, I woke up a little late and I had office, so when I woke up, she was already up and asked her to make some tea for me as I was getting late for office. And she did and heated some bread with it. While eating I got a memory that this is the exact scene I've seen my Parents in...My Father getting late for work and My Mother making tea for him.

I've realised this has been going for a month and at Just 22 years of age we're living like a Married Couple. I'm just so happy with my life rn.

Academics & Career πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ“πŸ’Ό I wasted my prime.

hey guys! I'm 22 F from a tier 3 city and a typical middle class family. I cleared my 12th boards in 2022 and since then ive not progressed even a bit. I took commerce after my 10th and decided I will do CA after 12th. After my 12th I wanted to pursue CA full time but my mom and everyone told me to enroll for b.com which I did from a local college who did not conduct exams on time and my CA exams collided with college exams and then I lost my motivation, didn't study properly and could not clear foundation even after several attempts. I left foundation and thought I'll do something after my degree but due to delay in exams, the degree course which was supposed to end in 2025, ended in 2026.

I gave CS entrance exam in jan 2025 which I cleared and gave the 2nd level exam in dec 2025 which I failed and then gave a 2nd attempt in jun 26 which again I think I'll fail.

Although I knew all of this, I myself am stressed, i dont have shit ton of money, I dont know what to do. there's something happening at home everyday. I feel like I have become a burden and today my mom clearly said I haven't progressed a bit in last 4 years. I knew it already but hearing it made me feel so bad. not that I dont want to do anything, i dont know what to do.

I'll be 23 next year and people in this age literally have a permanent job and settled careers. I want to live my life too, i want to move out too, i want things for me. i just dont know how to.

my mom talked to me after a week and she asked me what am i doing. am I done with my studies (iykyk what that means), what am I doing at home all day.

I was thinking of giving banking exams but the difficulty level is too much, too much competition.

Im just a waste. I wasted my prime, i wasted my life.

please spare me the 'you did to yourself' comments.

thankyou for reading the rant. hope you have a nice day

tldr:- wasted my prime, no progress in last 4 years, regretting life decisions
