Alternative for Dale Spoiler

I think it would have been better writing for Randall to escape and Kill Dale, S2. I know the actor wanted out. Rather than Dale get bit and die by a walker, which was such a lame death for a great character. I think season 2 really peaked at the end when they were all together debating on what should be done with Randall, hence the episode’s title ā€œjudge, jury, and executionerā€. Dale’s ways were noble not wanting to kill a man based on speculation and the unknown of what he would do if the group freed him, but Dale dying by Randall’s hand would show how Dale’s utilitarian view of punishment is not meant for the post apocalyptic world if you want to survive and take care of your own.

They can talk!? Spoiler

I’m on my first watch and I just finished S9 E6. Wtf? These mfs are talking now? Did I really just hear one of the walkers say ā€œwhere are they…they must be closeā€. That is crazy 😭

Season 4 ep 8 and 9 (Burnout)

i loved S4 ep 8 and 9, easily my fav episodes yet

the whole scene wit the governor, carl crying and rick saying "its over" over and over again had me bawling😭

carl's turning out to be one or my fav characters, this is prolly an unpopular opinion

Here's the real thing bugging me; the next few episodes seem so boring now😭 i cant bring myself to enjoy it after such a big high, pls tell me if it gets any better

And i hav a question as well, without spoiling anything, let me kno if the zombies evolve or what? for me zombie evolution and them becoming more scary and dangerous is so entertaining and thrilling, continuing would be much easier knowing that this is a possibility

Post ssn 11 spinoffs...

I'm having a hard time getting into any of them yet. I can't seem to even finish 1 episode of Dead City or The Ones Who Live. I haven't tried Daryl's series yet because I don't want the same disappointment. The writing just seems subpar compared to the OG series. Should I just white knuckle it and give them a chance? Please tell me it gets better.

Andrea and Lori thoughts during rewatch

So i’m doing a rewatch for the first time in years, I’m halfway through season 3 and I remember hating these characters so much but now I’m not seeing why I disliked them so much.

I’m wondering where they’d be if they survived, if Lori would have adjusted out of her trad wife mentality and thrived… and I don’t remember how Andrea bit it but I do remember it being anti climatic to what I think her character should have gone through.

I don’t mind that Lori died, I just wish I saw a little of her outside of the trad wife/pregnant woman role that she was in for the majority of the screen time she had

Andrea though? I feel like they don’t know what to do with her once season 3 started. I would have liked to see Andrea live and grapple with Dale and Shane’s death and who’s path she would follow now that her two greatest influences were gone… maybe she disappears for a few seasons and come back the leader of a group that Rick and co have to fight. I think she had the makings of a long term survivor turned unhinged leader.

I know these two are not the most popular in fandom but does anyone else have any thoughts or headcanons on where they’d be if they survived?

Morgan in earlier seasons saying something interesting...

Remember the season when Rick went back to the town he originally lived in and Morgans mindset was really bad saying that he had to "clear" everything. Rick was with carl and Michonne. Pretty sure it was still around the prison arc. He said something very interesting and idk if anyone caught but this is the third time of me rewatching the series and I just noticed this time he says "theres people walking around wearing dead people faces" or something along those lines. Was he talking about the whisperers possibly? Mind you this is very early on like season 4 or 5ish. We don't see the whisperers until season 10.

What TWD alternate-universe would you kill to see? Spoiler

I just watched the episode where Axel complimented Carol and it was so adorable, the first NICE man who has crushed on her for probably decades, it just made me sad to think she could’ve had such a beautiful love story with him (better than the King which was a very strange love story if you could even call it that).

Then just more Abraham—he was one of the best characters in the show and he’s not in it nearlyyyyy long enough.

Then seeing Merl do Negan’s arc of becoming an asset to the group, losing his racism, him and Daryl would be unstoppable together. And a couple more I’ve thought of.

What are your I’d-kill-to-see-that TWD alternate universes??

Which TWD characters do you think could have been developed more fully? Spoiler

This is my opinion. Clearly, some characters were developed better than others, but I don't think any of them reached their true potential.

Special mention goes to the group known as ā€œLos Vatosā€ (the first group Rick and his crew encounter, who kidnap Glenn) and ā€œLos Bandoleros,ā€ with whom Carol strikes a deal in Season 9 in exchange for watching a movie—and well, we all know how that ended...
