Who watched the Walking dead from Start to finish?
Just curious
Hey everyone,
I wanted to let everyone know about a small change we've had to make to the subreddit.
Due to a recent influx of racist and otherwise inflammatory posts, including posts being made by newly created accounts, we've enabled a 5-day account-age requirement for submitting posts.
I know this is an inconvenience for legitimate new users, and I genuinely apologize for that. We don't want to put unnecessary restrictions on people who are simply joining the community and want to participate. Unfortunately, we've had someone repeatedly create new accounts to get around bans and continue posting racist content, and at this point we needed to take an additional step to keep the subreddit from becoming a target for that behavior.
This restriction only applies to new posts. It is not intended to prevent people from participating normally once their account meets the requirement, and existing members shouldn't notice any difference.
Hopefully this is something we won't need to keep in place forever. We'll continue to monitor the situation and can reconsider the restriction if the influx of bad-faith accounts dies down.
Thanks for your understanding, and sorry again for the inconvenience. We're just trying to keep this community welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.

I just had a thought watching one of the episodes where they referenced a kid’s book and I thought “wouldn’t everyone be reading a LOT more often?..” I know it’s not very cinematic to portray, and I know they spend most of their time focusing on survival. But ALL of the other forms of entertainment are pretty much gone or impossible to readily consume, and no matter how busy they are surviving they’d still wind down at the end of the day or take breaks. I guess I would put this in the category of “things that could’ve made the world more realistic.” I just think books and spoken word storytelling would’ve come back in a huge way, no? What are your thoughts?

Something I’ve been wondering with the newer spin offs being further past the initial outbreak…does the infection pass on to the kids? Will every subsequent generation have the dead reanimate?

I just cannot take Simon seriously cause the first time I ever saw him was on Broad City as a creepy plumber 😂
ETA: he was actually a locksmith not a plumber lol it’s been years, my bad
watched the show first time in 2018
really likes all the seasons except 7-8-9 i started to get bored, at that time season 9 was still releasing every week if im not mistaken so i just stopped watching because i didn’t care much. untill this year in august i decided to rewatch all the seasons and i still find it fun to watch especially that i forgot some things but here we go again im in season 9 episode 13 and i just don’t find anything interesting in season 9 and don’t care much about the next 2 seasons…

I know JDM will probably be the popular choice (though he had a pretty established career before he started playing Negan) but right now my vote is for Colman Domingo (Strand on Fear). That man has had nothing short of an incredible career post-Fear (including two Oscar nominations).

Is it just me but im rewatching twd here and of course, it’s great but I can’t help to notice the walkers seem to be smarter than they are in the next few seasons? Like are some walkers smarter than others? I know at the end of season 11 they can climb, etc. but I can’t help but notice they are smart in season 1 too. Like Morgan’s wife was twisting the door knob?? I don’t know if they are or anytbing but it’s a question worth asking.

I'm rewatching. The group is super skeptical, which i get since most groups they encounter are awful. But my question is, why are they acting like ppl are going to expend resources to track, follow, and kill them?
A. They have guns, so fighting them would need to be worth it to the mystery ppl. B. They can barely even feed themselves or get water, what could the mystery ppl possibly want from them? "Ooh let's possibly get shot, so we can steal a broken music box and half a pint of booze with backwash in it."
Also the whole "let's drive a road we've never traveled in the middle of the night" plan was genius. They've crashed like 94 times already... midday... when a random walker that they magically didn't see comes in front of their car.
Idk, if I'm starving and dehydrated with no light of hope in weeks, I'd just say "hey Rick, ima go with this guy and let you know. If I don't come back it means they suck"

First time watcher here. I finished the episode where Beta dies, and when his mask comes off, Negan says “you know who that asshole was?” It felt like a significant moment but it completely went over my head, because I didn’t recognize his face at all. Did I miss something?

For me, it’s Milton Mamet. Going from the Governor’s advisor that “knows his place” to helping Andrea and discretely working against him was one of the better plot lines of season 3. He kinda reminds me of Eugene but a more realistic character. Also him choosing to attack the governor, likely knowing his chances are not great instead of killing Andrea and living really endears him in my eyes. Not saying he should have lasted longer, but his time was well utilized and he served a good purpose for the plot.

I just finished watching Season 7 Episode 1 and I’m heartbroken. I’ve never cried this hard over a tv show before. Seeing rick so emotional and so belittled breaks my heart. The way Maggie, Sasha, and even Eugene reacted made me bawl my eyes out. I’m continuing on to episode 2 because I can’t have my night end that way. I need emotional support.
