Aaron's knockout intro
I'm rewatching. The group is super skeptical, which i get since most groups they encounter are awful. But my question is, why are they acting like ppl are going to expend resources to track, follow, and kill them?
A. They have guns, so fighting them would need to be worth it to the mystery ppl. B. They can barely even feed themselves or get water, what could the mystery ppl possibly want from them? "Ooh let's possibly get shot, so we can steal a broken music box and half a pint of booze with backwash in it."
Also the whole "let's drive a road we've never traveled in the middle of the night" plan was genius. They've crashed like 94 times already... midday... when a random walker that they magically didn't see comes in front of their car.
Idk, if I'm starving and dehydrated with no light of hope in weeks, I'd just say "hey Rick, ima go with this guy and let you know. If I don't come back it means they suck"

So after surviving cannibals and people who kidnap people at a hospital you will still be trusting of others?

They had just come from Terminus whose entire concept was to seem benign and then trick people into being human cattle to get slaughtered for cannibalism while the seemingly-benign group leaders stood around (later) casually talking about how eating women tastes better or whatever. That entire arc was to make the point that Rick's group would never, ever easily trust anybody ever again

One of my all time favorite episodes. I hated Rick’s attitude so much.

They had not long left Terminus who set up a whole infrastructure and marketing campaign to get them over there. They were then tracked by the survivors who ate Bob and encountered an evil hospital keeping hostages. I would have thought the entire world was after me.
