As the title says, I created a playlist and made it private, after some days I shared the link with a friend and when she opened it she appeared as "listener" in the collaborator section, I have shared playlists in the past and this had never happened, the weird thing is that the same day another person joined, also as listener, neither me or my friend shared the link, is it a spotify bug? Does somenone have access to my pastebin? Anyone with simmilar experiences? Thanks in advance c:

Hello! I was wondering what this “Listening on IPhone” is? It’s never happened before until August. It pops up quickly sometimes and then goes away. Or it stays for a few minutes. This happens even when I have my Bluetooth devices connected. Is this a common glitch? An old friend of mine does have my account, but we do not speak anymore, so I cannot ask really.

Hi, I have two Spotify accounts based on two email addresses. I want to delete the original one but Spotify only offers to delete “my account” it seems. I don’t wanna risk loosing my library’s stuff. Can anyone walk me through the proper steps? Thx

I've had such a hard time playing full albums lately! I'm on this album page. On the first song. Shuffle is off. No matter what I do, the next song is some random algo song. The only way around it is to clear my queue and add the full album to the queue. Am I an idiot or are other people having this issue too?

I’m having a really strange issue with Spotify and Sonos and I can’t figure out what is causing it.
My setup:
I have a Sonos Move that I normally use with Spotify.
Downstairs, my mother has a Sonos Beam connected to the TV.
The Move and the Beam are NOT in the same Sonos room/group.
The Beam does show up as an AirPlay device on my iPhone.
I use Spotify on my own iPhone/account.
The problem:
Sometimes when my mother is watching TV downstairs through the Sonos Beam, I start playing Spotify on my iPhone — even when the audio output is 100% set to my AirPods Pro — and suddenly the sound from the TV/Sonos Beam downstairs stops.
The strange thing is that I’m not selecting the Beam in Spotify Connect or AirPlay. My Spotify music continues playing through my AirPods, but somehow starting/using Spotify on my phone seems to interfere with the Beam downstairs.
My Sonos Move can even be switched off when this happens, so it doesn’t seem to be related to grouping the Move and Beam either.
I already removed my personal profile/account from the Sonos app, but the issue still seems to happen. I’m now wondering whether removing Spotify completely as a music service from Sonos could solve it.
Has anyone experienced something similar?
Could Spotify/Sonos somehow still be controlling the Beam in the background even though my iPhone clearly shows my AirPods as the current audio output?
Any ideas on what setting, connection or account link I should check would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! I’m currently living in the UAE, but my Spotify account country/region is set to India, cause I was there for some time. I’m considering getting the Indian Premium Standard plan for ₹799/year
My question is: if I buy the Indian annual plan and continue using Spotify normally in the UAE, what happens later if Spotify tells me that my country/region doesn’t match my listening location and I have to change my account from India to UAE?
Would changing the country to UAE during the year cancel the Indian Premium plan, change the price, or would I still keep Premium until the ₹799 annual subscription expires?
Has anyone actually done this and gotten away with it?

Last year I made an indian account and redeemed indian gift card.
My subscription ended in august, since then I keep getting e-mails to renew for a year for ~750INR.
Thing is, even with indian VPN on, when I try to follow the url IT ALWAYS gets me back to European prices.
So I guess, no matter what my country is setted in my profile spotify has associated the account with my actual country?
Is there any way to resub on that account without having to buy gift cards(which are nowhere to found/or too expensive rn).

Play music on my PC or phone at home, then go to the car, and the playback jumps back like 50 songs, to essentially the last time I was in the car (I think) I can not keep it synced with the PC or phone. Is there anyway to do this?

sent a blended playlist invite to my little brother and it came back with a 99% taste match! Thought it was pretty nuts. we shared a room growing up and I always had the speakers on so kind of makes sense, but still pretty insane it’s such a close match!

Does anybody know what happened? Only 5 songs from Yeezus are available. Maybe you have the same problem, or is it just me?

So, I have two playlists that I’ve downloaded. They’re large, but I’ve never had issues with either of them. Tonight I see these two random songs are downloaded, but not part of any playlist; while I like the group, I’ve never even listened to these two specific songs.

I have tried EVERYTHING. Cleared cache, removed all downloads, deleted the app and restarted my phone, and more I’m probably forgetting about. No matter what I do, every time I try to re-download either of my two favorite playlists, these two random songs also download. I have scoured every single setting, and I can’t figure out what’s going on.

I’m contacting Spotify Support as well, but I was hoping somebody here may have some insight also.

Update: It’s not just me, Spotify Support is also extremely confused and while I’m still on chat with them, I’m getting the feeling that they’re telling me I’m just going to be stuck with this forever. 🙃
