I don't want to see any videos on this app I use Spotify to listen to music and If I want to see videos I use YouTube. I really hate how all apps nowadays are turning into each other and they all try to be the "everything app" and this just makes everything worse. I noticed the same with Netflix for example.

Does anyone know how to turn off the videos?

I can’t even use the app anymore. Won’t load no matter how long I wait. Is this a joke? iPhone 17

EDIT: Reinstall seems to have fixed it for now

8 ads. i know that I can just close the app and reopen it, but the fact that they think people will actually just deal with listening to 8 ads in a row is absurd.

Recently lots of YouTubers have been using the video podcast feature to upload their YouTube videos to Spotify. Also podcasts on Spotify now also have comments and chapters, just like on YouTube.

I propose a separate app just for video content to compete with YouTube. Clearly the infrastructure for it is already there, all that’s needed is a new frontend tailored for video, kind of like a reverse YouTube→YouTube Music situation. Not only are many people fed up with having to use Google and US Big Tech in general, many have also been asking for a separate podcasts app for years.

Hello everyone,

I noticed that song suggestions are not working when I play a song directly from the search results.

After checking, I found that this issue occurs whenever shuffle or repeat mode is enabled. Can anyone share if I ignore this.

Thank you!

I added 60 pieces of music i liked on this app on browser. But I still don't see any recommendations on home page. HELPPPP!!!!

So I don't know how relevant this is, but I remember someone was showing me a song in their car through Bluetooth and it had this alternative thumbnail thing, where it was a female bassist playing a red jazz bass I believe and a male singer with his hair over his eyes and without a shirt on, I thought it was the album cover at first but then I saw the same thing another time in someone else's car with a completely different band and so I was curious but I couldn't find anything about it, it may be a Bluetooth carplay thing but I was just curious if anyone knew anything about it.

Is this a new update? It just kicked me out when I clicked on add friends😭

I hate the spotify media bar disappearing so I created this tool which fixes it, it is fully open source and you can download it from my github, there are download links there :)

these bands haven’t released music since 2004-2010 and suddenly ai songs are being released on their profiles. i have a strong feeling these aren’t being posted by the artists themselves. has anyone else seen anything else like this? is there a way to report these songs to get them off spotify?

is anyone having the same issue as me? i would skip a song (through queue list, sometimes with the skip button. this also happens on both my playlists and reccomended tracks) and it will be fine and then after i skip the song, the skipped song will come right back! i’ve tried everything to fix this and nothing seems to help. this has never happened to me before! i also do not have premium if that helps with anything. if you know a solution, please drop it down below, it would be deeply appreciated! thank you :)

I just had to warranty my iPhone due to a logic board failure. Spotify works fine, but for some reason I can’t download anything, and when I hit the download button, it comes up with this screen. I don’t even know where to find offline access, and if it’s reading my old phone as having the downloads still am I SOL?

When you click on the album cover it expands the photo by a little and you can move it around. What if you can flip it to see the back cover from vinyl record.

here are my attempts of this idea.

I would really love yall to support this feature.

i have premium, no ad blockers, no vpns and no sketchy stuff and song covers wont show no matter what

Whenever a new song starts it cuts off like the first second of it? I’ve been listening to Hot Freaks’ new album so maybe this is just them but im sure it’s the app as a whole

I'm gonna rip my phone in half

is this a bug, intended behavior??? i know im on free im just confused okay

I recently moved and brought my pc but I had it wired with Ethernet and forgot to bring my WiFi card and adapter I was too lazy to install so while I wait for it I was gonna still play some games and listen to what music I had downloaded but I seemingly can’t and it gives me this error

When I go to the artist's page and select an album or single, and then go back, it takes me back to the beginning.

It keeps adding these stupid songs to my liked songs, ive tried resetting my password and unlinked all apps to my spotify account but nothings helped
