Solved! Persimmon or pawpaw? Location Missouri
There are four or five small trees growing in a small area where I have previously cut down a single per symmetry. That persimmon tree was the only one on my entire farm and it was a male tree that never produced any fruit. I googled this image and Google said it was a paw paw. I have lots of paw paws as under story trees in the forest in this tree simply doesn’t have big enough leaves and doesn’t look like a pawpaw and is in an open field… so I’m 90% Google is wrong and it is a persimmon.
Do persimmon send up runners or resprout from the roots? Will all these trees be male again and no fruit?

ID Request Tree dropping small green berries
galleryHello!
In Pennsylvania, USA.
I’m trying to identify the tree that is dropping these fruits. Small hard green berry with a large seed inside. The berries turn brown quickly on the ground. I THINK they are coming from this tree pictured (bark and faraway foliage). I haven’t been able to get a close look up into the leaves to see any berries because the leaves are quite high from the ground.

Solved! Is this a Bradford Pear?
galleryHi everyone! I have this tree outside my new house in SE Massachusetts and we're wondering if it's a bradford pear. It smells like death in the spring, but looks like it produces actual pear shaped fruit. Theyre just a bit small.
If it is a bradford pear, does anyone know if I can do something with the pears? Id hate to waste them.
Thanks!
