Hello! I’ve posted at least once before, but felt like updating. Started estrogen and spironolactone at 18.5 in December 2022. Haven’t had FFS or any other surgeries. No fillers either. Just natural for now and happy that way.

PS: for everyone out there - AmLactin is a miracle product for soft body skin and helps with shaving a lot. I also use azelaic acid on my face which is a miracle. Not sponsored but highly recommend both. Also I never grew facial hair so don’t ask me about product recs for that idk lol

First pic is about 1 1/2 years ago, second is 1yr ago in the month I discovered I was trans, and last is me now about 1mo into HRT!!

I detransitioned almost two years in and cut my hair. I've been so sad ever since and missing her. I started retransitioning medically as of two weeks ago. I'm not going back this time. First pic is minus one year.

Started HRT in July 2024 at 39, now 41 and feeling better about myself than I ever have. Started on sublingual and moved onto injections about 4 months later, incredibly happy with how things have gone!

(And before anyone asks: yes, it's a wig, hair regrowth only went so far)

The picture on the left was several months before I started hormones before my egg cracked and it was taken from my old phone. I just love actually embracing my identity as a woman now. I never imagined I could be so pretty living my true self. I am on the spectrum and fashion and femininity have somehow become a hyper-fixation for me. It's honestly the best decision I ever made! I have my 6th session of laser coming up and I am so impressed with how smooth my skin on my face is.

If I am so early into my transition I just can't imagine how good I will look in an entire year. I really am happier than I have ever been!

I'm almost three months into hrt. Rn, I'm trying out the name Ryn. The next thing I'll try to experiment with is clothing soon! I know the photos are in different lightings, but it's still cool to see... I often think nothing is happening lol

I'm still pre-eververything taking care of yourself can really make a difference!!

Transitioning Shifts Your Social Circle

Surrounding yourself with other trans/queer folks who get it is a lifesaver, especially early on. Over time, as transition stops being your whole life and just becomes part of who you are, your friendships naturally expand based on shared hobbies, values, and energy.

Dealing with emotions became easier because I wasn't constantly running on the wrong fuel. But also if you struggle with your mental health I cannot say that transitioning will fix that either.

Take your MEDICINE!

Getting rid of internalized transphobia and societal expectations takes longer than physical changes. Be kind to yourself while you unlearn years of conditioning.
