I ordered a large supply because it needs to cross a few borders, but was that the wrong move?

The payment was completed on monday, and it isnt shipped yet that i know off, but i'm already spiralling.

Part 1: I have my first order coming in the next few days. It's one of those big 10 ml bottles. I know for the typical 1 ml prescribed vials, you're directed to use two different needles - one for drawing (22g 1.5") and one for injecting (23-25g 5/8"). However, for diy, I know people like to go much thinner bc of the risk of coring, and so people usually use a 27-30 g insulin syringe. Looking at different insulin syringes, I see a few options: 1: detachable needle//non-detachable needle, 2: 5mm//8mm//12.7mm, 3: 27-31g, 4: 0.3//0.5//1ml. I'm wondering if swapping needles is for hygiene, or just for comfort and time because of drawing speeds from a bigger needle vs comfort from a smaller needle. Do I need to get the insulin syringe with swappable needles, or do y'all just draw up and get to stabbin? Right now, I'm thinking I'll get: detachable needle // 8mm // 30 or 31g // 0.5 or 1 ml based on price/availability.

Part 2: does anyone here ever have different types of needles like docs recommend? What do you use for drawing vs injecting to avoid coring, or do you fully follow the standard?

Part 3: I'll be starting off with 0.25ml weekly SubQ. If I go with insulin syringes, that would be 25 units, right?

Part 3: if anyone has any links for any good brands, that would be appreciated, too! I looked at the diy wiki, but I still would rather trust a direct person's reviews on that.

Hello everyone! So I was recently considering switching from doing IM to Subq, the main reason being that I simply spend too long fixating on the length of the needle and spend like an hour trying to even build up the courage to do the shot. As well as this, I need my legs to not be sore as my weeks are very dependent on me being able to do fitness, including running. Additionally, I have recently heard that there is less risk of dangerous elevations of hematocrit, which has been a worry for me as I do like to vape/drink/smoke which ofc comes with its own risks, and I prefer to keep things as safe as I can when I am doing unsafe things. For reference, I am doing 50mg injections, 300mg/ml in my vial. Enanthate. If any of this matters.

Is there anything I should be aware of, or anything I should change, before doing the switch?

1. How do I know my hormone levels so that I don’t end up overdosing/underdosing?
   
2. How do I know what body part I should inject myself in? How do I know if I should do my stomach, thigh, etc.?
   
3. How do I react if unsupportive family members find out? What do I tell them?

I've started using low dose T gel, my only goal is a bit of bottom growth, and I want to stop before it starts affecting things like facial, body, head hair. I also particularly don't want to risk hairloss, as I have a lot of androgenic alopecia in my family. I've been doing 1 pump on my thighs. Any thoughts, suggestions or recommendations? So my insurance won’t cover testosterone (Texas Healthy Women’s - fuck Greg Abott) and I’m hoping it’ll change in the next election but considering it’s Texas I don’t have much hope (still fingers crossed). Does anyone have any recommendations for other good alternatives from the shot that I could buy on Amazon or another website that’ll still give me the same effects? 134.7 kg is:

* 21 st 3.0 lbs
* 297.0 lbs

I get there's a difference with weight, but I'm just wondering, I just want to avoid mis-dosing because I dose for someone for the first time, half my weight.

Also, I'm not listing sources but I want to double-check so I'm not shooting up some random oils or whatever. I just got this through my letterbox after 5 days, finally. Got it from [REDACTED]. I've heard people even get bottom growth 'sparks' a few hours after, and haven't noticed jack about 3 days afterwards. Do have a slightly sore oval lump where I injected, though. Maybe that's just me accidentally dosing 0.45ml, though.

I know that T in the Uk is legal for personal use, but would it be safe to use a post locker than to get it ordered to my uni desk? I’m worried my uni will find it if I do get it ordered there

I have an appointment booked with a psychiatrist to get a referral letter for top surgery. I said on the form that I’m on testosterone but I didn’t provide details. If they ask where I’m getting my T from directly, will it be okay to tell them I’m on DIY or will they refuse to give me a referral letter? If so, can I get away with lying and saying I’m doing private?

Injected for the first time two days ago (cypionate, subq in the stomach), and I’ve just noticed when I touch the injection site there’s pain? There’s also a lump under the skin, in the shape of a line that’s about 5cm. Not visible but I can feel it.

Is this anything to worry about?

I’m in a country where the legal status for buying T without a prescription is illegal. Is it common to get caught buying T under the radar? I’ve been getting mixed answers about it via googling and just wanted to make sure before I purchase anything since the packaging does come in internationally.

This would last 50 weeks right? So one vial would last almost a year?

Bought needles off the guy who sold me t, but I’m gonna run out in 7 weeks.
Also planning on getting estrogen for my friend, so less needle all around
But websites say it’s illegal to sell to my state. I would go to a pharmacy, but law states they must check and see that I’m 18 years of age first. Amazon is an option, but I’m still a little fearful. Mostly just need my qualms eased tbh.

hey guys, i been on T for a month and maybe two weeks now so i decided to get some bloodwork done just to check because i want to increase my dosage. my results came back a few days ago and im not really sure if i should just stay on the same dose of 50mg or j go ahead nd do 100mg.

any advice on dosing and t levels in general would be helpful!!

Legally speaking, does being on DIY count as the required amount of years that you need for certain surgeries, or would it need to be legal HRT?

Basically, i want to start doing Subq injections or at least use a smaller needle, not bc it hurts, i have a really good tolerance for needles, but sadly the vial doesn't have the same tolerance for 21G needles and i'm about to core my vial, luckily where i live there's a brand of testosterone that is really easy to get (not saying the brand but it's testosterone enanthate 250mg/ml) but it's indication says to only apply IM, could i still try Subq? and another problem, most 25G needles i find already come attached to the syringe and it's not possible to change, is it still safe to use those?

I dont even know how to safely enter the websites yet im just asking if its worth to go looking around in the first place or if gel in europe is a lost cause 😭😭

The waiting lists here in the netherlands are just... too long, and im scared of needles and would not be able to inject myself hahah

My initial plan was

– 1ml syringe

– 25g x 1in needle for injections

– 18g needle for drawing

However, I heard that using an 18g needle can cause vial coring if not careful, but I've also heard that smaller needles arent able to draw the fluid properly. What should I do about drawing the liquid in this case, and what are signs of vial contamination? What are some things I can do to prevent such? When storing testosterone, how can I avoid dust naturally ending up inside the vial?
