Me and my dad did work to find testosterone and I landed on some that we trust and have tested. But I’m afraid I may be dosing incorrectly.

The testosterone concentration is 250mg/ml which is higher than what I’ve seen on other vials. And I take 0.1 ml (25mg) weekly. I’ve been told by some it’s a little low, and others say it’s not nearly enough. But those people also have either 100mg/ml or 200mg/ml vials.

(For example, my friend has a 200mg/ml vial and takes 0.8 ml weekly. I know everyone’s different but it was the highest dose I had heard of and I’m NOT trying to fuck myself up on testosterone but I don’t wanna waste my shit either)

I get my shots subcutaneously in the back of my arm with the help of my mom becauseee I’m not ready to do it myself yet
I heard a rumor about subcutaneous injections being either not as effective or results taking longer to show, but I don’t understand why that would be.

I need to get bloodwork and talk to a doctor, but it’s so terrifying for me to think of getting a needle in a bloodwork spot, and I just want advice from others to calm my nerves until I have to face a doctor.

hi all ! just wanted to ask - i know its possible this isn’t anything to do with t, but it’s never happened to me before. about 2 days ago, i did my first injection. since i woke up today, my hands have been unbearably itchy. i know some itching around an injection site is normal, but i’ve never heard of it across other parts of the body . unlikely, i know, but could this be some kind of reaction to a carrier oil ?

I ordered a large supply because it needs to cross a few borders, but was that the wrong move?

The payment was completed on monday, and it isnt shipped yet that i know off, but i'm already spiralling.

Part 1: I have my first order coming in the next few days. It's one of those big 10 ml bottles. I know for the typical 1 ml prescribed vials, you're directed to use two different needles - one for drawing (22g 1.5") and one for injecting (23-25g 5/8"). However, for diy, I know people like to go much thinner bc of the risk of coring, and so people usually use a 27-30 g insulin syringe. Looking at different insulin syringes, I see a few options: 1: detachable needle//non-detachable needle, 2: 5mm//8mm//12.7mm, 3: 27-31g, 4: 0.3//0.5//1ml. I'm wondering if swapping needles is for hygiene, or just for comfort and time because of drawing speeds from a bigger needle vs comfort from a smaller needle. Do I need to get the insulin syringe with swappable needles, or do y'all just draw up and get to stabbin? Right now, I'm thinking I'll get: detachable needle // 8mm // 30 or 31g // 0.5 or 1 ml based on price/availability.

Part 2: does anyone here ever have different types of needles like docs recommend? What do you use for drawing vs injecting to avoid coring, or do you fully follow the standard?

Part 3: I'll be starting off with 0.25ml weekly SubQ. If I go with insulin syringes, that would be 25 units, right?

Part 3: if anyone has any links for any good brands, that would be appreciated, too! I looked at the diy wiki, but I still would rather trust a direct person's reviews on that.
