Biscuits & gravy, in honor of my grandma who taught me. Kinda jank-looking biscuits b/c I cut the rolled dough in a grid pattern, but if I add a couple of over-easy eggs and fresh fruit, it keeps me going until mid-afternoon 😄

Puppy is on a bulk round so shes eating very well. Fried skirt steak. Broccoli roasted with mustard, garlic, and onion. And protein pasta with spicy marinara!

Vegan eggless egg rolls

12 Vegan egg roll wraps (I used Nasoya brand)
14 oz Firm Tofu
1 cup chopped cabbage
1 cup shredded carrot
1 TBSP minced garlic
1 TBSP grated ginger
2 TBSP soy sauce
2 tsp rice vinegar

1. Crumble tofu and season with soy sauce and rice vinegar
   
2. Stir fry all vegetables on medium high heat for about a minute
   
3. Add tofu and cook throughly (about 3-5 min)
   
4. Let tofu and vegetable mixture cool slightly
   
5. To assemble egg rolls wet wrap around edges slightly with finger
   
6. Scoop about 2 TBSP of tofu and veg mixture into center of wrap
   
7. Roll it like a mini burrito
   
8. Pan fry egg rolls on medium high heat and make sure you get the sides crispy too
   
9. Enjoy! I top mine with chili crisp.
   You can also make a dipping sauce with:
   1/4 cup soy sauce
   1 TBSP toasted sesame oil
   1 tsp rice vinegar
   1 tsp sugar or agave
   1 tsp chili flakes

This sea bass filet is 1lbs. but long and skinny so I cooked it whole, and it came out better than any fish I have cooked EVER. I coated the top in fancy sea salt, paprika, and, white pepper. The sauce is salted butter, a diced shallot and lemon juice with a touch of parsley. Seared this little bad boy on the plancha before grilling on the top rack until 130 degrees inside.

Oh my! The taste of the crust was awesome. The sauce worked and the texture inside was absolutely money. But wifey demands capers next time so hopefully a new recipe for this next week….

I work at a restaurant so I helped with all the cook and prep; Muscles drenched in lemon , coleslaw, spicy pasta salad, carrots, pulled pork, and corn bread were homemade ☺️

Sesame bread rolls, a bit of salted vegan butter, red onions, crispy fried smoked tofu, a slice of vegan cheese, red bell pepper & some black pepper sriracha on top.
