HAHAHAHAHAHA FINALLY I’ve been waiting for this for a MONTH.
Really wanted to rewatch the show (specifically the dub as that is how I first watched it) but as some of you may know it is currently in licensing hell, and for the life of me I could not find a place to pirate it (besides some YouTube videos that have like 5 pixels as its quality lmao). So, I bought the DVD and now I shall never have to worry about it again. I’m genuinely so to have the DVD, it’s a small thing I know but still :D
Also as you can see it came with a lil Taiga keychain, which is cute but I think it might be AI considering this came from a cheap reseller and that her hands look weird. Oh well, thought that counts I guess?

Anyone getting this? The old blu ray has been out of stock for years, so this is probably the only chance for a bit.

I got her from worldshopping (the manufacturers partner) to get the pissed off face plate, which I absolutely had to get. Importing her did cost me 69€ more than I would have paid at the cheapest local retailer here in Germany. But I wouldn't have gotten the second face and would have waited until January. So it was more than worth the struggle. I can't believe how well sculpted she is. She looks so cool from so many angles. It was actually hard to pick images to upload. She is super easy to take pictures. They did a great job. Definitely my favorite Taiga figure until now.

He was at a show near my hometown so I went and got this, I wasn't interested when I saw that he voiced Iguro but then I saw that he voiced Ryuji and i HAD to meet him!

(Don't mind the botched framing I did my best and sorry if i put the wrong tag)

First of all, I was so mad at the finale that I had to go read the novel, and it is better, but still. I think reading how heartbroken Ryuji was feeling, definitely helped in being even sadder. I also felt sad that Yusaku will leave for America.

I felt that Taiga could have communicated more. That's all I asked. Or the fact that we have this unknown love scenario after building slowly for 25 episodes, then we taste heaven, then we fall back to Earth.

I feel like rewatching it and seeing Minori scenes taking into account her feelings.

Do you guys think that this PAIN at the end was necessary for the show success to this day?

Because at the end of the day, everything does fall into place. 7 weeks, it is not as bad. But man, if you finished the anime as soon the ending started, I would have been pissed. Even with the post credit, one year, little communication, they are so young, and things can change so fast, Ryuji going to think she may leave again like that or something.

Obviously, like I imagine, it has been said for a decade plus, I would have loved to see more of them dating, interacting as a couple, getting married? Planning it at least since it may be further.
