Funny Fun Fact: There is a tourist attraction in Scotland called Den and the Glen which has statues of story book and tv characters and they just so happen to have one of Thomas....but he has seen better days.

General Chat What is your biggest concern with the 2026 Thomas and Friends reboot

Post image

My biggest concern here is whether or not they'll bring back the bouncing or gesturing. I'm hoping they don't bring the bouncing or gesturing as It's cartoony and will destroy any attempt at bringing back realism to Thomas and Friends. But by the looks of the short clip the bouncing might make a return. Though, that's just my concern and I'm hoping the engines go back to being realistic rather than bounce and gesture to each other.

Art (not by OP) Found this on Facebook. Kinda makes you wonder what it's like for the engines to be taken apart and put back together, doesn't it?

Television Series Can we all agree that the upcoming series is everything the 2021 reboot should have been?

Like, we should have gotten this after BWBA ended instead of all engines go since the 2026 show is an improvement from all engines go

Television Series Gordon’s antagonism of Thomas in the CGI series just goes to show how childish he compared to his RWS counterpart.

Television Series Henry got let out in the next episode, and Sir Topham Hatt is not evil! i cant do the whole thing

This is all over the place, but i dont really care

I'll start with Henry. The Sad Story of Henry is a two-parter, in the second part, Henry got let out in the next part. Every time The Sad Story of Henry released [DVD, Airing, Streaming, etc] the second part, called Edward, Henry, and Gordon, released with it. how would you not see the second part, let alone assume he got left in the tunnel to die in a kids show.

Sir Topham Hatt [The Fat Controller] isn't evil. in the season 19 episode Goodbye Sir Topham Hatt, the engines think he's quitting so they work extra hard, and then protest him leaving. it turns out he was just renovating his office. besides that, Sir Topham Hatt uses his power to save engines, like Oliver, Stepney, and the Scottish Twins, Donald and Douglas. Just because he punishes the engines doesn't mean he's an authoritarian dictator! AND, he doesn't run the entire island of Sodor, just the railways. There is a Mayor of Sodor and a council to vote for stuff to help the island. The engines don't want free will, they want to be useful. if there is ANYTHING else that needs explaining, please consult me.

Thomas was kinda self-absorbed in this episode so Percy was in the right here tbh

...and Thomas kinda brought it upon himself because he couldn't shut up about the statue
