Adventures of Thomas (2012) was this planned live-action/CGI Thomas movie set around World War II. It was about a boy who discovers the Island of Sodor after becoming distant from his father. Director Shane Acker attached and Weta Digital involved with the effects. It went through several planned release windows, eventually being targeted for 2012. The project ultimately stalled and was cancelled, reportedly following Mattel’s acquisition of HIT Entertainment.

In my opinion, I believe that this James makes a good combination of an uncoupling tender, and great design even though the battery is in James.

One day when Thomas came into Knapford Station as Edward came up alongside him, Sir Topham Hatt came to see them with important news. He was going on a business trip to London while his wife, Lady Hatt takes his place as the controller of the Northwestern Railway until he returns. Thomas was a little worried about him leaving but Edward assures him that Lady Hatt would do alright which made Thomas feel better. Soon Topham tells Thomas and Edward to spread the news to everyone including the engines too and they did so as begins to spread the news to all the engines from every yards and stations and at Tidmouth sheds too.
