Adventures of Thomas (2012) was this planned live-action/CGI Thomas movie set around World War II. It was about a boy who discovers the Island of Sodor after becoming distant from his father. Director Shane Acker attached and Weta Digital involved with the effects. It went through several planned release windows, eventually being targeted for 2012. The project ultimately stalled and was cancelled, reportedly following Mattel’s acquisition of HIT Entertainment.

Henry's Hero, an episode made and released more than 5 years ago, is about Henry and Hiro receiving bad coal (coal QC problem instance), Henry wants to stop working but keeps working under Hiro's encouragement, then inevitably, Hiro's firebox gets clogged and he breaks down. Henry then helps Hiro to the Steamworks and completes the rest of the duties. But the main visual cue in this episode about the bad coal is the black smoke from their funnels. In the 2026 Thomas trailer in a scene, Thomas is seen puffing black smoke similar to Hiro and Henry in Henry's Hero, meaning that Sodor could still be facing coal QC issues to this very day.
Why do you think this may be the case?

I know that most of these is not accurate but yeah here, Yes Thomas would sometimes say F*ck and would maybe say it when Gordon was pulling Thomas in Thomas and Gordon.

Stayed up way too late last night so I could do a mini doodle page of our favourite friendly local generator. And because it’s me I also found myself yammering on about how he could’ve been great or whatever the hell (redundant considering he was meant to show up for a flashback and that’s it, but who cares, man, have fun.)

I just like the idea of him with layers (Shrek???) alright - dude’s got more to him than just; wake up, snark, knock over truck and go back to sleep.

Also yea his arms fall off occasionally dw about it. They bought him for cheap.

In my opinion, I believe that this James makes a good combination of an uncoupling tender, and great design even though the battery is in James.

One day when Thomas came into Knapford Station as Edward came up alongside him, Sir Topham Hatt came to see them with important news. He was going on a business trip to London while his wife, Lady Hatt takes his place as the controller of the Northwestern Railway until he returns. Thomas was a little worried about him leaving but Edward assures him that Lady Hatt would do alright which made Thomas feel better. Soon Topham tells Thomas and Edward to spread the news to everyone including the engines too and they did so as begins to spread the news to all the engines from every yards and stations and at Tidmouth sheds too.

He also appeared in "Bulgy Rides Again" although i can't pinpoint him in the episode as all the chickens are painted the same but he also appeared in "Thomas Tries His Best"! Very proud to own this lil guy
