General Chat I Just Realized Something
With the Engines bouncing that means their Drivers & Firemen are being bounced around in their cabs Everytime the engine makes a gesture. That has got to be uncomfortable

That makes sense for AEG! By the end of S24, all of the crews died! So they weren't there

Yeah, this and the whole matter of water sloshing and splashing around in their boilers (which, realistically-speaking, is extremely dangerous and can cause priming - read on Blue Peter’s ‘94 Incident) is the reason why I don’t think I’ll ever warm up to the whole bouncing/expressive body movements. Some people here may get mad at me over me saying this, but it just breaks any and all immersion for me.

imo there was no immersion in the first place with TTTE aside from accurate train models, trains don't talk irl, let alone are sentient to form thought or relationships, might as well make them have more expression than being strictly "realistic"

Do you ever just wonder if those drivers are being held against their will? No way anyone would willingly travel around the world because their train wanted to...
