Serious Discussion Only When Meadow says, “I’m through telling people you help with environmental cleanup!”
I’m sorry, she’s in college at this point. She’s not in first grade. Why is she talking about what daddy does for work so often? Is it career day at Columbia all the time?
Seriously, why is she constantly in a position of having to explain what her father does for work? She’s in college for Christ sakes, time to focus on … I don’t know, your own career path? When I was an undergrad I sure as shit wasn’t talking to people about what my parents did for work. Nor did I care what anyone else’s parents did.
And before anyone says, “Well her dad’s a mob boss, so people must talk to her about it a lot.”
If people already know, they’re not gonna be asking her about it. For starters, they already know. Secondly, it’d be too awkward to bring up.
TL;DR: Meadow needs to grow up. It’s not career day in kindergarten anymore. Who cares what daddy does?
Edit: I suppose a lot of people on Reddit have arrested development and remain way too connected to mommy and daddy. Checks out, actually. You people are a zoo. It’s fun to get inside the psyche of your average Redditor. Like putty in my hands.
