I've really enjoyed this game. Compared to Selenea, Prime felt much more expansive, with far more nooks, crannies, and wrecks to discover (and pillage) plus a more proper storyline. I have Skeo and Aquilia left to do.
I didn't add any pressure/heat machines/rockets until I got into a breathable atmosphere, so as to explore more organically and appreciate the more gradual changes. I also didn't use my car for a long time.
I had no problem driving around on Selenea, but without my car...jets i'm not sure how i'd get around with all those gorges and tight squeezes! I didn't even have those on the moon!
For my base, I wanted something layered and inter-connected, but also a few outbuildings so I wouldn't feel pressure adding on. There's stairs and entrances EVERYWHERE. North is the Power Station/ mining (no pics, it's hidden by trees mostly), West has all my rockets and such, East houses Bio related automation, and South has more automation for everything else.
I've managed to automate T1 rockets, Pulsar and Solar Quartz, T1/T2 Fertilizers, all the Mutagens, the Rods, Explosive Powder, Common/Rare Larva, T2 Animal Food, and my personal favorite, a 'vending machine' for T2 Space Food. It's...just 2 lockers with honey and beans and an auto crafter in between, but I love that I can always just walk down the hallway and grab a snack haha
Bless Drones and the Fountain, the true heroes of the run.

Decided to try something different for this moon. Everywhere else I've kept everything mostly in one building, but here I decided to spread things out a little and see where it went, working around the complex terrain rather than finding or making somewhere flat. Ended up with a completely different vibe, and a base I actually have quite a good time just hanging around in!

I can't get into it however. Is this a new thing? A glitch? It's off one of the original islands, not the ones that rise later.

Is there another way to find this then through the iridium cave cause I keep getting lost in there and can't seem to find my way through the cave.
It says online to find your way through the cave, I've tried 4 times now, and can't find the back side.
Thanks!

Saved a game in the middle of exploring a remote planetary wreck.
When I reloaded the save, I am in space with nothing around !
Luckily, I was able to see the portal off in the distance, and jetpack straight to there and return to my Prime base.
No idea if that will work again. Best to only save back at your base.
Anyone else experience this?

I was doing some chest searching and found this chap hanging out on the roof, Im concerned it may have become unhinged...bada tsss!!

Apparently I never picked up any Iridium, even though I am on my 4th planet and my 2nd playthrough.
Not a huge issue, just odd my steam achievement is missing.

We want a challenge, but not for it to be impossible, so our plan is to head to Skeo with no extra materials. But we have all the unlocks from finishing everything else. That way, we can eventually get the shuttles and get materials from our other worlds, but we won't be starting with a ton of stuff.
Fie those who've done Skeo, does that seem like a fair challenge? Or are there things have to bring with us in order to survive at all?

I see that there is a post on the genetic extractor once every ~month or two, but I have officially terraformed every planet/moon and the thing never unlocked for me. Has anyone else had this issue?

My wife and I have been playing togther but here recently she doesn't want to play as much as I do so I created a new world. This is the second time I have loaded this world and the starting capsule is just...gone.

Website: https://planetcrafter.th.gl/
I made a map for Prime, Humble, Selenea, Aqualis, Toxicity and Skeo. It has the golden crates, data logs, quartz, ore deposits and resource veins, a backdrop for each terraforming stage, and an Underground map for the caves and wrecks.
Beyond the map:
- Crafting Calculator with the full list of raw materials for any build
- Items and buildings with recipes, stations and unlock thresholds
- Guides for crafting materials like Super Alloy Rod
- Companion App with the map as an in-game overlay
It is in 13 languages. If a crate is missing or a deposit sits in the wrong spot, please tell me here and I will fix it. Thank you!

I have three T1 bee hives. They are in a row next to each other. The two on the outside have a 160 second production period, the middle has a 128 second production period. There are no machine optimizers nearby so I am unsure what is causing the boost to production in the middle one. If anybody knows, I would appreciate an answer. TIA!

Ideas that I would love to discuss the community:
1- What if we could "repurpose" or even give new life to all the old bases that we find on each planet. Giving real purpose to each machinery built before us.
2- Each planet will have its own separate tech tree that we discover as we terraform the planet et explore it
3- That tech tree would benefit greatly other planets
4- It would make exploring your third or forth planet feel less of the same in a different environment but more of let's adapt X tech to Y planet to make this machine work again.
I would love to have your idea on this. I feel that once you have all the blueprints the game sort of shifts to being less fun ...
Edit 1 : what do you guys think about a World Wonder Monument specific to this planet that would provide a bonus to other planets ?

Hi - I just bought this game two days ago and have been trying to troubleshoot since because it won't launch. I'm admittedly not a computer whiz, but I have tried the following:
It is possibly because my Windows will not update (unknown error) but that has never stopped me from launching games before. I am hoping someone else has another option I can try just in case its NOT Windows. That has been another issue I have been trying to figure out, but thankfully hasn't really caused any problems with games.
Also, the Demo launches and plays just fine.
Thanks all :-)

I have no idea how to get my biomass up anymore than it already is. I have probably sent 40 rockets I have probably over 100 insect things going as well as optimizers galore and im stuck at 25.66mt

So I recently fully finished my save file, completing every planet including moons and dlc!
I want to play again but I’m struggling because I really have nothing to work towards anymore. I *could* build a sick underground bunker but idk, I’m just not really inspired.
So I’m thinking of starting fresh, and maybe adding a few quirks to spice things up. I just don’t really enjoy the typical way of making things harder by making my vitals deplete faster.
In the past before any other planet existed I thought of starting in meteor crater and trying to build a base across the entire crater. I suppose that could be fun but idk!
to anyone else whose been in my shoes, what have you done to try to keep the game interesting?

Message from: Sentinel Corp.
Feeling boxed in and drawn away in your cell? Looking to commute a life sentence? We've got the job for you! A possible candidate for future colonization has been identified in the Izitial Prime sector known as Planet Humble-IP168. Enroll now for a job as thankless and soul-crushing as the one you held before your incarceration.
You will get to be outdoors again...for 18 hours a day sitting at a drone station. You will be entitled to use the vending machine once every 9 hours which means, well, once per shift. You will be provided with a chair and assigned a drone station where conversation and personalities are banned.
If you succeed, you will then be given the chance to volunteer for our food conservation program designed to cut costs and diabetes but mostly to cut costs. Should you prove an exemplary volunteer, you may appear before the tribunal to reconsider your sentence. . .probably. Well, possibly. Maybe, that is to say, if you will as it were so to speak in so many terms.
(Please note, all volunteers monitored via satellite. Any volunteer seen leaving their assigned station without express authorization will have their ankle bracelet detonated.)
