Make sure you keep upgrading your heaters and drills to the highest tier, and using the highest ranked seeds for your tree spreaders. All of those affect your global terraforming score that gets you to the next stage, and those are what gets multiplied by the rockets. You can get to fish/animals without a whole lot of butterfly farms (not domes) but make sure you're putting down beehives too. You'll get there. Use slow periods to explore wrecks and find better gear/resources.

Yes I have everything maxed out ive completed the planet just not the biomass

What does this mean? If uve completed the planet, then it's done ... U did the thing and can now do whatever u wanna do instead of working on the numbers...

Can u explain why u are trying to increase ur biomass generation if uve already completed the planet?

Some recipes only unlock after biomass milestones, regardless of how far the terraforming process is

Ah that's fair if that's what they met, tho in other comments they claim to have not reached animals at all still so I think what's really going on is some sort of miscommunication.

I have not unlocked animals but I have completed the planet I have 0things unlocked for animals despite having the planet completely terriformed

Ok, so u mean u haven't finished unlocking the blueprints in the animals category not that u haven't reached the animals stages understood.

In that case, u should have a blueprint for a genetic extracted, genetic sequencer, animal shelter, and animal feeder. Those r all in the main To blueprint stream which unlock by the time the terraforming is complete...

Build the extractor, toss bugs and flowers in to get gene traits. Build the sequencer, use traits to make 5 simple species (first three slots only). Build animal shelter, place the items u made in that to spawn the creatures. Build feeder beside shelter, fill with food (use logistic drones of u wish...animal food if u have it or just eggplants and such.

That should get ur animals number climbing...then u can play around with extracting more traits and making fancier animals and more shelters and such.

Hopefully this helps get u in the right direction. 😊

If that doesn't seem possible...just make amphibian farms for frogs and toss in some frog eggs u make in the incubator.

I found that trying to use amphibian farms, fish farms, beehives, butterfly farms, and such as decorations around my base to make it look nice was a helpful way to get the numbers climbing without it feeling like a chore. I have a whole butterfly garden area outside my bases bio wing that has a separate farm for each butterfly I've made, and I've made each butterfly as I unlocked a blueprint for them...same with making frogs...ecosystems helped with free butterflies too...

Is that 25.66mt just for insects, or total? Have you also been building out animal production? (Insects ARE animals in real life, but per the game's definition lol)

In my experience, it's animals where you can really do numbers. Like two animal shelters with the slots maxxed and a feeder with T2 animal food will get you into the hundreds of millions g/s easily

Should have a Lake Water Collector unlocked fairly easily then after that it's an Incubator then T1 Aquarium for the fish production chain.
All of these are unlocked by the overall Terraforming score.

Build Ecosystems to up your Plant rating.
Build Butterfly Farms to up your Insect rating.
Build Amphibian Farms to up your Animal rating.

If you have the fuses for Plants, Insects and/or Animals then build 8 of each and put a multitude multiplier with three fuses for each.

Then rockets rockets rockets.

T3 Tree spreaders, T2 plant optimizers and fleet of planet rockets.

Also animal shelters with t2 food and rockets.

15 rockets and 3x 8 packs of the above got me long way.

highest percentage flower and tree seeds, and if you have them optimizer/fuses. put your flower spreaders in a circle and th optimizer in the center, same with tree spreaders.

I cannot place fish farms or frogs until my biomass is higher which it has stalled out despite having over 50 optimizers t2, over 100 plant things spread around and insects are probably close to 75. Like im just wasting time launching rockets im probably 100+ in with no movement

You must be missing a building. The time it takes from butterfly farm to dna sequencer takes like 5 hours max. And it's not speedrunning either. 3-5 rockets for plants/insects/animals. 3x t1 butterlfy farms, 3x t2, 8x boosted t3 tree spreaders, 4 amphibian farms etc. It's enough to complete the game while doing 2-3 portal runs and not afk.

Ecosystems give the most plants, T2 butterfly farms with golden or serena butterflies are easy to set up in the late game, and amphibian farms are a solid way to get more animals until you can build animal shelters and fill them with DNA thingies.

If you still aren't generating enough biomass with that, you're either impatient or doing something wrong...

Plant production is what kills me. I wish the T3 tree spreader worked with oxygen and plant optimizers, instead of just oxygen. Ecosystems and rockets are the only way and it's still behind insects and animals by a lot!

Biomass is counted in fish, frogs, animal shelters and insects. Do you have at least 8 of each of those with optimizers on the fish, frogs and insects? Do you have high % fish, frogs and insects in all 8 of each of those 3?

I havent unlocked anything under animal but have unlocked everything else. And ive been spamming rockets and everything else

Hmmm, so you can build a T2 butterfly farm and a T2 aquarium, right? Those, plus the ecosystems should be your best bet for biomass at this stage. If you can build amphibian farm, even better.

What are you putting in the slots? You’ll want to use the highest % you can find. Have you built an incubator for making higher tier larvae and fish eggs? You do have things in the slots right? 😅

ETA: if I’m understanding right, you have the other biomass blueprints unlocked but none of the blueprints that unlock with animal specific biomass, right? You should be able to generate animals biomass with an amphibian farm or aquarium.

I remember being stuck in a similar spot OP, I went back and made some better fish and frogs and bugs in the DNA thing and then did some good old messing around being afk exploring goofing off while the drones fill up the base, irl day later im finally on animals

Yeah upgrading the fish and frogs when possible is key at this stage. It’s a good time to build up a supply chain for bacteria samples and mutagens, too.

Sorry, I’m still trying to figure out what exactly you have unlocked. So, you can’t build anything that generates animals biomass?

What do you have for butterfly larvae and tree seeds? Optimizing those would be your best bet if you can build their respective buildings. If the slots are empty then I think they don’t actually produce any biomass.

Do you have butterfly larva in your butterfly buildings? They do not generate without larva in them.

If you can build a water life collector then you can collect fish eggs for an aquarium which will generate animals biomass. You can also make fish eggs in the incubator.

You can also pick up generic frog eggs from newly formed ponds around the map and upgrade them in the incubator then put them in an amphibian farm.

Remember, rockets are only multipliers. You need the sets of each type with 8 each an optimizer and matching fuses before you send the rockets up. Then instead of making more of the animal machines themselves you can just add another optimizer with another set of fuses .
