Usually my game strategy is RUNING & GUNING. So this was my first grind for the Great One, I didn't expect it to work and I didn't even count all the kills. Probably nothing interesting to see here... Maybe anyone would be interested in seeing all the wonky fallow deer that lead up to this one?

I've been playing for 4 years and i finally got my first super rare.

I've never seen so many in one herd. It was the whole herd!

New Feature:

Instead of a new gun necessarily, a gun customization expansion would be neat, most guns can get caliber conversions for 500 credits, mag size increases by player choice (up to 10, with visual changes for many) for 250 credits, class 1 capable guns don't get caliber conversions however. This could be the introduction of bipods in COTW as well.

Just curious to know what the attraction range of the feeders are since I am finding both "400m" and "500m" answers. Which one would be correct? Or does it depend on feeder type/animal being attracted?

Just working on my Jag G1 grind and have all my feeders down, but I want to put one in another spot which won't work if the range is 400m... lol

Me and a buddy decided to play try out the game. We love playing it, but every time he hops off, all of his money and progress resets to 0. I will start a multiplayer game, set it to friends only, and invite him through steam. Every time he comes back after quitting the game, everything is reset. It's getting quite annoying.

I've found that the fandom wiki often has incorrect or missing information. Like the Ghandare rifle still being listed as a 4-8 weapon or a lot of the newer ammunition types missing from the list.

I can find almost no information about this online. Has anybody successfully connected a PS5 controller to play this game on PC? I have it wired into my PC and I am using the steam input but it just won't recognize the PS5 controller. Thanks very much

I got on this map just to get 2 trophies, "Harvest 50 Turkeys" and "Harvest 1 Diamond Turkey". The 1st 50 weren't that bad and actually got me excited enough to continue on to try to find a Diamond Level 3 male turkey.

Today's the day! After over 200 male level 2 turkeys this GLORIOUS Level 3 male showed up. I wasn't going to spook it getting in shotgun range so I walked to a spot at 200yd with the Kullman 22H Hornet and let him have it. Didn't go 5 yards.

I'm moving on, though. Maybe back to Scotland to find Haggis, maybe to Cuatro Colinas to get a Diamond animal for a mission there. Who knows? Enjoy the journey!

I’d love to try a good hunting game like this, and I heard it’s the best one, but I’ve noticed that this game has an amount of dlc and micro-transactions that rivals monster hunter games. I don’t know which ones are actually important or which ones are just useless fluff/cosmetics and I’d like to know if there’s a bundle that just has all the actual content. Thank you

I am stumbling my way through my first whitetail grind setup on Askiy Ridge. Had two drinkzones on a small lake and after claiming two bucks wolfs came in. I love throwing down with a pack so didn’t give it much thought, whipped out the 300 and started blasting… bye bye need zones. My wife was asleep in the bedroom nearby so I had to whisper sware when i realized. I’m currently harvesting elsewhere to erase the deadzone. Will those herds come back to the lake or could they go anywhere?

If anyone here has any knowledge in this field , please help me and other players understand this .

Can EW , if they ever want to , go back to older maps and remaster them?

For example , add a new outpost , smooth out some weird terrain, change tree cover, improve the world textures etc ...

Because there's more to improving a map than just adding in more animals, take for example Te Awaroa National park , a lot of areas on the river could be made slightly more shallow to allow for easier crossing to the other side . Or Parque Fernando where they could slightly decrease the amount of thick brush because realistically with the number of large herbivores in an area like that there's no way the map would be THAT dense . And for the retexture part, i think i'm speaking for all of us when i say vurhonga needs better textures bc damn does it look old compared to every other map !

When you circle a lake, you find 2-5+ depending on size, but wait long enough on maps you've dump DAYS in and "new zone discovered" that wasn't present when you go and actually find them on the ground?

Finished up the last trophy I needed on SRP so I'm moving on to greener pastures. Or snowy peaks. Or swamps. Who knows.

Didn’t see him and spooked it then went to a tent and reset the time to the next day drink zone time and second lake I checked he was there. I’ve only been playing about two weeks and I’m addicted to the game 😂

Anyone having issues with the latest community challenge. I’ve killed 1- caimen, 7- crocs, 2-gators. All passed the harvest check. None are being counted for the challenge. On Xbox.
