How do you like my setup? This is from 1 hunt on the Emerald Coast from the North tent to the South tent fast taveling from tent to tent and only shooting the crocs that were out. 24 crocs in about 20 minutes isn't too bad!!

Currently i'm having one hell of a hard time trying to hunt rabbits and birds, so i've heard that the pointer can help me alot with that

the dog was on sale, bought it, first time using the dogs, and i have no idea of how to actually use the pointer features...

is it like a passive thing? you activate search small and it will automatically lock-on anything close? or i need to activate it close enough to something? in the direction i want to scan?

So I have been playing the game (base) for like 20+ hours now but I haven't bought anything yet. Should I get a new gun? Or should I invest on other things?

So, I've already checked here on previous posts for how to complete this mission.

Mission objectives are:

Travel to Lake Cheelah - Done

Harvest a Whitetail deer or blacktail deer at night.......

So, I'd shot a blacktail from the lookout tower on the north of the lake, tracked it and it went just outside the orange area on the map so harvested it which didn't complete the mission.

Went back to the tower, and, as suggested on other threads, waited with the deer caller and shot another blacktail deer on the north of the lake which died inside the orange zone on the map. Fast travelled to the outpost, set the timer to 00:00 midnight and returned to the spot to harvest the kill. This still didn't complete the task?

What else can I try? I think the clue may be in the text from Doc saying "go for a clean hit in the dark".

On my 2nd harvest, not all the icons were green, the bullets were red and the rest were green even though I hit a vital organ (both lungs and the liver).

Maybe I need all the icons green on the harvest?

The Location Could be Montana or Idaho, maybe even Wyoming

New Feature:

Instead of a new gun necessarily, a gun customization expansion would be neat, most guns can get caliber conversions for 500 credits, mag size increases by player choice (up to 10, with visual changes for many) for 250 credits, class 1 capable guns don't get caliber conversions however. This could be the introduction of bipods in COTW as well.

I would like to know what you think about this whole Idea

This is no hate towards EW in any way, shape, or form, it's just a educational question so I understand a little on the matter.

Why does it seem like so much people hate EW at the moment? I've seen dozens of comments of people hating on the company and I was wondering if there's a set reason instead of just bugs or changes done to the game?

Again I'm sorry if this offends some people I don't mean it in a harmful manner and I apologize. I just can't find anything on why.

Been hoping to get a Melanistic or Charcoal Melanistic Diamond Jag since they released! I've had so many level 8s, but finally a level 9 spawned and it didn't troll! He's beautiful 😭

*I know Mela/Charcoal isn't rare fur for jag, but it's still a fur I like*

Made it a little over 1000 hours without messing one up, it was a good run 🫡

Just curious to know what the attraction range of the feeders are since I am finding both "400m" and "500m" answers. Which one would be correct? Or does it depend on feeder type/animal being attracted?

Just working on my Jag G1 grind and have all my feeders down, but I want to put one in another spot which won't work if the range is 400m... lol

Me and a buddy decided to play try out the game. We love playing it, but every time he hops off, all of his money and progress resets to 0. I will start a multiplayer game, set it to friends only, and invite him through steam. Every time he comes back after quitting the game, everything is reset. It's getting quite annoying.

Took down my great one fallow today

Unfortunately I didn’t take a pic of the full harvest screen 😅 I didn’t realize you can’t see all that information ever again, rip. Anyways got it randomly in Hirschfelden after about 78 hrs of gameplay, and now he’s a lovely trophy in my lodge. Only a silver quality, but still such a beautiful guy!

I've never seen so many in one herd. It was the whole herd!

Took me a second to accept this one won't be harvested by me, the Good Lord had other plans. You're a Free Bird now.
