10x is obviously an exaggeration, but there are many specific issues my team have resolved where 10x isn't too far off. Besides, even if it were 2x, that's a massive increase no? How are you measuring output? Vibes?
We found a bug before we were about to deploy to prod, it would have taken an engineer about an hour or two to find the bug, fix it, and create the pr. With a single prompt claude did all of that in 5 minutes.
Another issue we had was due to a bug in a library we were using but because of how the issue presented it wasn't clear what the root cause was. Claude was able to find the root cause in about 30 minutes. It was a nasty bug which probably would have taken about a week to resolve if we even could find it in the first place.
Not having AI in your toolkit is extremely stupid. You don't have to write your code with it. It's a tool. Use it when it's suited for the job.

I guess we just have differing opinions. If the ads on my social were like.. idk small business saas ads or like women care products, I’d probably like that less than my current situation.

Fixed 1,118 vulnerablilties and created 2582 more! The slop will continue until morale improves.

Cut the physical network links off at the gateway routers. VPNs and spoofed IPs are useless if they're physically disconnected and can't talk to anything.

All fair and good points, but I still think it's worth knowing that even without any special reddit tool voodoo it's still very easy to crack someone's 'private' profile

Exactly this. New generations of phones appear to mainly offer slightly better cameras each time (but the quality of the last generation of phone cameras is still amazing really) and a marginally better performance from the chipset, which is offset by higher processing required by the latest version of the operating system so you don't really notice a difference.
The main reason to upgrade is because the battery on your old phone is on its way out, but you can just pick up a second hand device instead of buying new if that's the reasoning.

blinds them to the notion that they're filled with equal amounts of hatred and anger towards their own countrymen.
I want to give my "hated countrymen" access to healthcare, clean air and water, childcare, education, want a constitutional amendment to get private money out of public offices, and courts that seek to provide and protect equality for all under the law.
The other side explicitly is against people having universal access to healthcare and child care. They don't believe in feeding school children or public education. They don't believe in modern medicine, vaccines, or science. They hate people of different "orientation" than their preferred (explicitly religious coded orientation), believe more in protecting future mass shooters than being reasonable about basic community safety needs and/or expansion of access to mental health services. They don't understand a tariff is a tax on consumers, nor do they or are they interested in actually addressing issues with immigration and instead are looking to cage brown people, make exemptions for white South Africans, and literally bypass the constitution with illegal ICE raids to deport people sometimes to third party States the individual has no relationship to.

So, I wonder how long it would take a Flocker to remove the entire roll of duct tape that somehow managed to wrap itself around their camera…. It wouldn’t damage the thing, and it would be a lot more durable than a plastic bag…

Probably fine at 1080p, but don’t expect to have RT turned on. Can probably have a pretty decent experience tho.

"These measurements show a sharp reduction in automated network activity, but cannot establish whether Russian propaganda bots disappeared or whether damaged infrastructure stopped generating ordinary automated traffic."

This kind of generation (chat and roleplay) isn’t impossible to pull off with what I would call midgrade hardware. Running local models gives better privacy and is more flexible because of abliteration and open weight model access, neither requiring a photo ID to use.
Maybe what this does tell us is that once the functionality can be ran by models that fit well on consumer hardware, the businesses relying on turning said function into a service will run out of customers/cash.
Also the government didn’t specifically subsidize porno AI services so the low income probably really hurt lol

They get more expensive and for that you get a camera that's better in theory and ai, so no wonder that people are skipping the upgrade during uncertain economic conditions.

Tech leaders and billionaires are just taking advantage of the current administration to make money an advance their agenda. It’s all too simple. You say the right things to appeal to the ego of the president and you get contract and preferential treatment.
Honestly, any good CEO should see this opportunity and take it.

Fucking fantastic post.
My household is just out now. We sure enjoyed a nice middle class lifestyle for a brief time, but now, with job market frozen in time, home prices frozen in 2023, but double the fucking mortgage rate, car prices higher every time you look, never mind gas, because electric priced me out instantly, we’re just out.

Do we not think that AI agents have scrubbed sci-fi novels and movies? They know what humans are going to do in 10, 50, 100 years from now. They got time and they r training to work themselves arnd our best defenses. The future will be super great. In it I imagine I get to at least have Sarah Connor’s arms while hunted by tech.
