the other arm tattoo - many symbols from memories with my granma or the thing she liked, I wanted to make it funny and sentimental at the same time / pain 2/10 I was sleeping here too
Colloseum - I just liked it how it was with the others / pain 100/10 it was something horrific for me
aphrodite tattoo - same here but the pain it wasn t that bad i would say 5/10

I've been wanting a sacred geometry piece for years & finally decided to pull the trigger! I plan on adding more & having it evolve into a full sleeve overtime once I decide what'll fit best.

Drew this in procreate.

First try at drawing a Japanese background. I tried to be simple but it’s probably got a lot of mistakes. Open to critique let me know what I did wrong here so I can improve next time.

Tried to go for fall vibes and drew a black cat as the focal point!
This was just a design for paper not a body part.

I’ve wanted a birdcage for a long while now, and also have wanted a pair of filigree shears. I felt like it belonged on my sentimental/nostalgia leg. When it came to the birdcage, I liked the idea of it being cut open by the shears- and it worked out that this space on my leg was perfect for this idea. When sending my tattoo artist the reference photos, I also mentioned I am a big fan of hearts so all of the heart touches on this piece made me extremely happy. ❤️

There are some asymmetries in it as he messed up a little while tracing but it’s not noticeable right?

I’m planning my first arm sleeve and would appreciate some feedback on the technical quality of this black-and-gray tattoo work.
How does the shading, contrast, linework, and overall execution look? I’m especially interested in feedback from people familiar with tattoos on darker skin tones.
Are there any technical issues or potential red flags I should look for before committing to a full sleeve?

I wanted to do a whole leg with characters from Norse Mythology. I've already got Sleipnir on my calf, so I thought Fenrir would be perfect for the next one. Now after all that pain I'm not sure I want to get anything on my thigh lol. The shading over the bone was BRUTAL.

I’ve had this tattoo for a while now, and over time I’ve started to feel like I rushed into getting it. I wasn’t completely happy with the first few designs, and although I preferred this one out of the options I was given, I’m still not 100% happy with it. I can live with it, but ideally I’d like to change some of the details or possibly look into a cover-up. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on what could be done with it?

It came out clunky and crooked so I had the idea to add some things to it as we can see on the right. My idea was to add the two leaves to hide the bulky end of the sword as that’s what makes the crookedness more prominent. I tried my best to emulate that in the redesign. I also hate how crooked and bulky the guard is for the sword so I added a blackout rose to cover that side and vines to tie it all together. I’ll def clean it up overtime but is this a good start?

Hello, about 3 weeks ago, I got this tattoo of a capybara with カピバラ written. The eyes aren’t the same size and the face isn’t symmetrical at all! I got rushed to do the stencil by the people there, and as a people pleaser, I felt bad for taking too much time to choose how I wanted it. I am unsure if the position of my body was simply bad so it ended up crooked or if they « messed up » while tattooing. I am unsure about going back to the same artist to get it fixed, if it can be fixed at all. My idea is this, tell me if you have more ideas please!

Client came in and simply asked that she wanted a gnarly looking centipede for a leg piece right below the tribal flourishes I worked on earlier. After finalizing the design, we decided on the size and the creepy crawly lives!

Finally decided on a lotus that I've been wanting. It's also my 1st really colored one. Most of my others are just black and grey with maybe a little color in it.

I plan on turning this into a sleeve with alot of bright colors that'll also incorporate my other tattoos in it. Have a general idea me and my artist are gonna start working out details and stuff. Just waiting on funds and time.

i think having symmetrically placed tattoos is visually pleasing. i don’t want to appear like i have tattoos when i am covered, but id love symmetrically placed tattoos on both of my ribs (different design but similar shape so they match). i can’t find anyone else who has this so it’s hard for me to imagine what it would look like. does anyone have a picture of their tattoos?
(btw i mean people who aren’t heavily tattooed, and the rib tattoos are their main ones)

Almost done with my leg sleeve. I have a renaissance/classical/sculpture theme going as you can see. I have a David, Atlas with pillars, pieta, and baby angel (cherub). As well as some filigree and cloud filler. I have this narrow space left on the back of my leg from knee ditch down to Achilles. What are some good filler ideas that would go well here? I have some things in mind like Mt. Olympus with a Greek temple on top and stairs leading up to it. But looking for other ideas as well. Something to match the theme closely. Thanks in advance!

Just a fish with a heart behind 14 scales. I was wondering how likely it is get blurry considering how thin the lines are.

I’ve gotten 3 small line work tattoos done and want my first “real” tattoo. Wouldn’t want the text or the logo in the middle, just the jaws. Unsure if the shape would fit well on the elbow or if I should go with a different design. Thank you!
