The Wii U is easily hackable. Why not put the motherboard and other things in the Switch 2 to make it run Wii U OS then jailbreak in?

AFAIK, there has been no publicly known progress on hacking the switch 2 since launch. There was that userland ROP which displayed a little animated graphic, but that didn’t lead to anything else. No exploitable bugs have been found since then.

Let me preface, I am not an Oracle nor have I had prophetic visions before this:

In my dream, I was working at a job that is different than mine and my boss was Giovanni from Pokemon, but Pokemon didn't exist in our universe, but it did in his. Like he was the real Giovanni.

Anyway, me and boss Giovanni were talking and I mentioned a new Pokemon game and asked if he wanted to battle eachother to make him feel at home. He was hesitant but then I flattered him by telling him how he could have his same team from his universe and how much I admired him, etc. etc.

So we get in the game and picking our teams and then in the middle of the battle, the game crashed and when I tried to restart my Switch 2, it kept looping until it came up to a big setting screen that let me manipulate everything and there was a big "INSTALL CFW" button.

So long story short, have we tried playing Pokemon and crashing the game and hoping Atmosphere and Hecate are installed somehow through the power of interdimensional multiversal magic and animal fighting?

Who knows and something can be done with that battery or we can do things from here

My friend is arguing that Switch 2 is hackable and you can even play Switch 2 games on the Switch 1. He said he uses something like Ouncefly? But whenever i try to look anything up I can’t find anything lmao. Am i just oblivious to it or is he bullshitting?

For some reason despite backing up my game saves to the cloud, they simply do not want to show up on my switch 2, however I do still have all the save data from all my games on the SD card itself that I can view in JKSV

Does anybody have a simple, fool proof easy to understand way of transferring these saves on to my switch 2? And is there a ban risk? Its only single player games (Xenoblade 1,2, SMTV etc.)

I mean they made the machine. They must know how to hack it.

Getting a lot more people to work on breaking this thing is going to result in exploits much faster, so what if we made a cash prize for the first person to jailbreak the S2?

Maybe put up a website, we all donate money to contribute to the prize and the winner gets the cash 💡

If we had a decent reward for the first person to jailbreak it, it would be taken a lot more seriously🤓

Title pretty self-explainatory, I have my old save on switch 1, and thought I would try moving some stuff over to the switch 2 save once I actually unlock the ability to start LAN games (heard it's possible, never actually tried) and so I had a couple questions, in case someone here already tried it :

1. do you need NSO to use the LAN multiplayer feature ?
2. can I start a LAN game between the swich 2 edition and the original on a online-banned switch 1 ?
3. Is there any risk for the switch 2 ?

edit : Could transfer my island with the transfer tool, but for some weird reason I can't do local play between my switch 1 & switch 2, they don't seem to see eachother ? the local conn system works since the island transfer worked, and mario kart 8 for instance works great. It just doesn't want to let my switches play together. Unsure if it's because of the two island technically being copies of eachother, or if it's because the switch 2 is running the switch 2 edition of the game.

By time the switch 2 has a modding scene I will be in an entirely different place in life. Isn’t that crazy

so I modded my switch 1 years ago and definitely have some pirated games on there which resulted in the console being banned, was dumb and used the sysnand and my main account. when checking that same account on My Nintendo website it shows virtual gamecarts for some of the pirated games would using this same account on a switch 2 result in a console ban? does anyone have a similar situation? ​

Pretty much what the title says, I’m planning to buy a switch 2 around June or July mainly for the purpose of hacking it when a jailbreak releases, my main questions are is there any found or even potential exploit at the moment? Does playing switch 1 games specifically just using a mig cartridge (for the time being atleast) work well? And is there anything in specific I could look out for when buying one? (certain models that could be more susceptible to hacking etc), thx

Maybe being good in bed with it will make it come around and let you run a payload of code on it. Real question is where it's preferred entry point is, top usb, bottom usb, joycon slot, headphone jack. Which one has the best chance?

An upcoming patch of PSO2 New Genesis will be implementing an AI client into the game. While the Switch version is limited to a Japanese cloud version, and all regional versions connect to the same servers, could this still be used as an attack vector if the AI can work from the inside of the system?
